Lauren is a personal trainer and nutrition specialist. Her goal was updating her website to reflect a new logo and clean design with easier use for clients. Using a pop-up screen when you first go to her site, I was able to direct visitors to Lauren’s Social Media which is updated daily. I then highlighted her results to reinforce hiring her as a trainer and then you end the home screen with the social media.
For the team poster this year I used a paint brush look to bring a fresh design element to our brand. I chose a similar font style for the team slogan to highlight the phrase against a faded photo background. Having our player cut-out and in color helps keep the focus on the action and brings the game day feeling to our fans!
Our basketball office wanted a newsletter template they could send to recruits throughout the season. The goal was to keep recruits engaged through a post-game update that highlighted key information.
When The University of Dayton announced a new President our Athletics Director wanted to present easy to read highlights of individual sports programs. I created a digital booklet with information provided by our Communications department that showed that information at a high level.

When our Athletic Director was hired, one of our first initiatives was to create a physical piece for staff to have explaining our mission and vision as a department with the values being the focus.
Using a low-light photo I took advantage of having an image that disguised our player identity to complain and marketing purposes. Our team wanted to highlight home games to push attendance and ticket sales.
I created a graphic highlighting our senior class for achieving the most wins in program history.
As a frequent almondmilk drinker, I became loyal to Almond Breeze. However, I’ve mistakenly bought the coconutmilk blend twice now because the packaging is too similar and confusing. I decided to create a packaging mock-up featuring a clean design focusing on the ingredient image, and highlighting the flavor with a bold font and color differences.
When I started at Dayton, our weight training areas were seperated on campus and with a space at the arena. As one of my first facility projects I learned how to manage relationships with coaches, our branding firm, architects, and printers.
Frericks Lobby Renovation
Our lobby got a complete renovation working with a branding agency, design/production agency, architecture firm, and internal clients.
Our first process was re-imagining the space and collectively focusing on areas for high-impact design.
Budget was set for the overall project, with pricing negotiated with a local design/production firm and our internal VP for Facilities, aka who I directly report to.
During this project we had our branding firm and architecture firm create structural design modifications. Once we knew where new concrete would be going up and the sizing of new design features I worked with our design and production firm to create artwork that would speak to our brand and highlight our student-athlete achievements.
Once we had the sizing for our branded areas, I created panels highlighting each sport for display. Following artwork from previous projects I wanted to use our main color red to help pop the pieces in our primarily white and light gray lobby. The main goal for our re-branding was to make each space feel connected from all areas of athletics.
Fit Body By Lauren
A local trainer was looking to create a recipe ebook. During the initial brainstorming process I recommended that a new logo and website update would be beneficial. With the ebook I took existing recipe content and photos, and created a reader friendly layout. I also concepted logo and branding ideas for her to create a more concise, professional look.
