what irks me the most is that none of the things max said had anything to do with lando, or any other driver for that matter. he's expressing his dislike for the direction the sport is taking, something he's been vocal about before, and with a good reason. it's his prerogative to speak up about these issues and yes, his words hold a weight because of who he is and what he's achieved. equally, it's lando's prerogative to disagree with the sentiment if he views it differently. however, instead of giving a constructive differing pov from one wdc to another, mr. Nice Guy World Champion™️ chose to make it personal because he's built his entire brand around proving he's not like max, no matter the circumstance.
