I guess we all should've listened when people would tell us "it's not that deep" when we would analyze things like set design, cinematography, soundtrack choices, etc.
Even the people who were responsible for such decisions probably felt let down by the Duffers.
I've seen Marvel products deeper and more coherent than Stranger Things ended up being. Maybe I should just go and watch Loki or WandaVision again.

I sort of wonder what his story would have looked like had Noah not turned out gay, leading to him advocating for more for Will.

I really don't understand how you can be so cruel between the humiliation ritual they put Will through and fucking killing El as if she was an object after years of her being treated as an object from the people around her since she was born... maybe that's why I'm hanging on to conformitygate so much because they're the fucking villains in any case and it would be better if they were because the story required them to be at least even if I wouldn't stop hating them
I would hope they're not so completely obtuse that they genuinely think they've given their characters, and those two, in particular, satisfying endings. Part of me does hope that there is some kind of swerve coming, even if I think it's unlikely.
