s5 repackaging will’s love for mike into a “crush” or a “tammy” renders this line utterly and completely useless btw. according to canon, he didn’t fall in love. what an egregiously terrible writing choice.

el keeps growing her hair out, and haircuts are a very emotional thing for her. she lets joyce trim the dead ends off, but it’s difficult every time. then she meets one of will’s art school friends and their hair is dyed purple. it reminds el of how kali’s hair looked when she was younger, and she immediately asks will to help her dye her own hair. they get box dye from the drug store and stain their apartment sink purple, and el falls in love with the way it looks. after that she’s obsessed with dyeing her hair fun colors, and haircuts don’t feel scary either, because she understands that it’s her hair and she’s choosing what to do with it.

oh lorddd i can’t pick a singular favorite conan song. anything off superache is so important 2 me. crush culture, comfort crowd, alley rose, winner, my world, and nauseous are some other favorites for sure.
as for byler… wishbone in its entirety. specifically this song, caramel, and nauseous, but seriously. wishbone is THE byler album (but so are most other conan songs ngl)
i actually can’t believe will byers said “you could always kiss her again” and we didn’t get a subsequent scene in which byler is arguing and mike interrupts will with a kiss. Kill me
Byler in college trying to be cool and go to parties but failing miserably because all they want to talk about is their comic they’re writing together and it ends up just being the two of them in the corner sharing a drink and yapping
