Dating a Reader with a kid (Part 1)
The only way this works is if the kid is the one initiating contact
Dust has no idea what to do with his new duckling and taking photos is not helpingÂ
Why is this tiny evil creature following him???
Heâs trying very very hard to work past his kid issues. Thankfully youâre there for him to hand the munchkin off to when it gets too much.
Ngl he freaks out at first
Once he comes around to the idea, he tries to get to know the kid
You ever seen a grown-ass monster argue about movie plots with a kid not even half his age-
They settle down after a while but every now and then you catch them trying to one up each otherÂ
Your child loves him and heâs just panicking, holding them out and away from himself, and looking at you like âwhat do I do with this???â
Has no healthy reference for parenting and knows it, so please help him before he has a heart attackÂ
Follows your lead a lot, and is a total pushover for the puppy-dog eyes
Honestly it kind of feels like you have two kids, just one of them is infinitely better at getting into troubleÂ
He teaches your kid so many bad habits-
Heâs basically envisioning your child as a kitten to bypass the trauma, so sometimes you catch him pulling the Simba pose or bribing them with sweets  cause the wires are a little bit crossedÂ
This is a breath of fresh air compared to his idiotic employeesÂ
The type of person to read Shakespeare and The Hobbit to your kid as a bedtime storyÂ
Definitely teaches your kid to defend themselves against bullies
Yyyyyeah, this is a hard oneâŚ
Introducing them is like introducing two wild animals and hoping they donât maul each otherÂ
Horrorâs wary with kids and your kidâs not used to a hulking giant skeleton with a broken skull and a very dark sense of humorÂ
I suggest bonding over favorite foods
