Status Ailments M!As - Final Fantasy Edition!
=========================
Beserk: Increased Attack and sometimes Speed, but attacks enemies uncontrollably. Muse is now in a rage of some sort, but it only affects them when there's enemies or someone of vile intent around.
Control: Target is under the control of the user and is unable to make any actions of their own. This status can only be applied to monsters and never to the party. Muse is now under mind control, but this is only under effect in the first ask (unless anon) or if the anon specifies the user they are controlled by. Both muns must agree.
Blind: Reduces Accuracy, causing the sufferer's physical attacks to miss most of the time. Muse is now blind.
Charm: Victim attacks for the opposing team. Muse is now heavily infatuated by the first person in the inbox.
Doom: KO'd after certain amount of time, can be "cured" by ending battle before time runs out. Muse has a certain amount of time before they either die or fall unconscious. Mun decides if they live or die.
Confuse: Attacks both enemies and allies indiscriminately and uncontrollably. Muse is now confused, and mistakes everyone as enemies.
Curse: Effects vary depending on the game, but usually causes a drop in many stats and/or disallows the victim from performing Limit Breaks. Muse is now cursed; anon must specify the curse. If they don't, mun can make the curse themselves.
Disease: Impairs the recuperation of HP and MP, in various ways. Muse is incredibly sick, and even a slight wound makes them incredibly woozy.
Disable: Unit cannot attack, but can still move. Muse loses their powers.
Freeze: Immobilizes the target similar to Stop, however fire element attacks heal it and physical attacks will often kill the target instantly. It's exactly what it says on the tin- muse is now frozen.
Gradual Petrify: Similar to Doom, victim turns to Stone after a certain amount of time. Muse is slowly turning to stone.
Immobilize: Unit cannot move, but can still attack. Called "Bind" in Final Fantasy XIV. Muse cannot move their body- they feel like a stone. They can still be moved around and can still function, but cannot move.
Oil: Unit takes extra damage from fire-based spells. Muse is now highly flammable- don't let them near fire.
Petrify: Encases in stone, unable to take turn or damaged by attacks. Also, if not cured by end of battle in some games, the afflicted character does not receive EXP/AP. Similar to Petrify, but immediate.
Poison: Takes damage every turn, or over time. Muse is now poisoned.
Reverse: Switches the effects of healing into damage and vice versa. Muse is now weak to things that heal them, and can be healed by things that hurt them.
Sap: Takes a small amount of damage constantly. Muse is slowly losing health- and conscience. Better get to the hospital.
Silence: Unable to cast magic or sing. Muse is mute.
Mini: Shrinks, Defense and/or attack strength greatly decreased. Muse is now a small version of themselves- about the size of your thumb. Be careful not to step on them!
Sleep: Unable to take turn until woken up by attack or on their own. Muse is now asleep and will not wake up until the m!a is over.
Slow: Time taken to execute actions and time until next turn is increased. Muse is now slower- about half their speed- either by walk or by run.
Toad: Becomes a frog, attack strength is decreased and can only input the Attack or Frog command. Muse is now a frog.
Venom: A stronger or weaker variant of Poison, depending on the game. Muse is now intoxicated with poison, and is rapidly losing all functions.
Zombie: Victim becomes Undead, taking damage from healing spells/items. Revivification magic and items KO afflicted units. Muse is now undead, and need to be revived by holy water before they fully lose it. Alternatively, they could have already become mindless, and might be the first to start a zombie apocalypse. The third alternative would be that they still keep their mind, but they are so weak that a simple heal would make them woozy to the point of fainting. It's the mun's choice.
