While colonies are being established, Liena finishes her schooling and works on putting together a portfolio of her work, writing articles for a news site. Reporters are not going to be the most necessary for a new settlement in space, but sheās going to make herself look rotting impressive for when they do need them.
With some tutoring and some math-intensive sessions of M&M, Migo gets into a school for architecture. She gets a cat to celebrate. It does not have pink fur (or any fur, on account of Migoās allergies) but it is, at least, a pinky color. Itās not quite what theyād pictured in the district, when they talked about Meowlee, but it is still a Good Cat.
Liena goes ahead to Miolee. Itās not her first time away from her family, now. Itās easier. She kicked ass at the first big move into clean territoryĀ mostly so probably she could be in charge of everything in Miolee if she wanted to.
Migo stays behind to finish her own schooling and spend time with her new baby sibling, then follows.
The rest of the family chose to stay in Voa. Liena would write to her family and friends back home (including Buttercup Hair) with extremely thorough life updates whenever she had a chance, especially when she finally got to Miovay and there were fewer chances to do so.
She grew out her hair. She met a boy who said he liked her hair, and really meant it because it was her hair. They had children who had red hair and didnāt need to hide it.
At one point she tried to go into politics--she wanted to make the world a better place--but found it too stressful, and went back to writing. So she wrote.
