PSA to all RPers

We all love angst, we love it, admit it. But I know i can’t be the only one who feels emotionally DRAINED when I reply to a thread that is super angsty and takes a lot of time to think over and respond to. It has nothing to do with my partner, just that they had a brilliant reply...but it’s OKAY to take a BREAK from a thread because it’s too draining.

There have been several times where my mood is completely altered because I respond to angsty threads that get to me too much. There is a reason I chose my muses...because i connect with them...and if a thread gets too angsty, i know it’s okay for me to take a break, to switch it up and maybe do something lighter with the mun and muse. 

i’m making this post because i discovered quite quickly just how taxing an angsty thread can be. please, please, please take care of yourselves and put rl before rp. Thank you.

King Kong (ish) AU

Muse A is comedian/dancer/actor(tress) who just got a big break on a new movie being filmed at the mysterious and forbidden S K U L L  I S L A N D. Once on the island, Muse A is kidnapped by the natives that live there and is offered as a sacrifice to the B E A S T (Muse B) of the island. Muse B finds a liking to Muse A and takes him/her back to their domain. Muse A continuously tries to escape, only to find him/herself recaptured by the “BEAST.” After a while, Muse A begins to warm up to Muse B and comes to terms with living forever with him/her on the island. 

BONUS: Muse C is the love interest of Muse A and is determined to find him/her. When he/she finds Muse A with Muse B, he/she captures Muse B and takes him/her to their home to show him/her off to millions of people for money. Muse A, appalled by this tries to help Muse B and set him/her free.

**NOTES** The beast can be an actual beast, or it can be an all-powerful being (warlock, witch, god, goddess, etc.)
