{Introduction/Starter}
Gently, Grima smiled and nodded before taking only the card. It only took a moment to skim through everything. “William, is it? I suppose you’re a new arrival.” He offered it back to the boy, then put his hands into his pockets. “That number, Q-5, is your apartment. That’s what the keys are for. I can show you the way, if you’d like.”
"Ah, right. You may call me Robin. I’m a part of the city guard."
William watched as the much taller individual inspected his card, beginning to involuntarily fan himself with his free hand. Only now did he notice just how unbearably parched he was- he was too focused on other things beforehand. It wasn't this hot just a day ago, right? But then again, this city seemed nothing like his home... not only did it look different, but it felt different. The people, the atmosphere- everything was out of the ordinary.
"--Yes! But, you can call me Will." He blurted out rather abruptly, snapping back into focus. He forced a sheepish smile up at the other as a way to apologize for his sudden reaction, now waiting for him to lead the way.
"Uhm... It's a pleasure to meet you, Robin." City guard? That certainly helped him relax a little more. Guards were most likely to be trustworthy and know their place around.. At least, that's how he knew it.
