So, I’m like 75-85% done with this series now. I’m thinking about roleplaying again ? And making a blog about the story with random passages of the story. I’ve been writing the actual story now and it’s flowing pretty well to my surprise. But if I continue roleplaying, I don’t know who I should do? I’ll add more info under read more. First off talks about setting and a little background. I’ll add personality later based on the setting.
So we’re all used to Traum. (Or used to be. rip my inactivity.) If I roleplay him again, it can be in Dreamworld or in Dreamer’s Homeworld(since I’ve developed it enough to be able to roleplay there). I can always do either upon request, but if I make starters, I don’t know what to start off with? But lately I haven’t been working on Traum in the story. In the beginning of the fourth book, Zeit(previous named Nuit, Traum’s twin) and Sayaw(Morendo’s, Traum’s half-brother, friend) are the major characters, along with Zeit’s love interest(or the antagonist if you will), Con.
I could roleplay Zeit, a new character none of you are used to. If I do, it’ll be set in Dreamer’s Homeworld where his memories are returned and he’s with his family and friends, occasionally visiting his love interest in secret. I can try when he’s in Nightmare World, but that’ll be a little hard to work with since in the third book, it’s mainly focused on Zeit and Con while Zeit’s in Nightmare and Dreamworld. Zeit tends to be nervous around every dreamer that comes by and tries not to make contact with them, yet does occasionally try to support them due to the fact someone suffering is something he cannot bear. Ah, also he has no memories of his human life in either world. I know that in Nightmare World, you’re supposed to have those memories, but his memories are taken by Con in the second half of the story. I can work with him having memories or not.
Roleplaying Morendo may take a little more thinking. His main roles are in the second book, the middle of the fourth book(well, I try to make everyone major in the fourth book), and the final book. He’s mostly alone in the beginning-middle-ish trying to find a way to contact Zeit in Dreamworld in the second book. He meets Esperanza and uses her help to find Zeit. After he meets her and goes off on his own again, he discovers Traum’s dead body. From there, he tries to search for a way to contact Zeit, Traum, and the Dreamers. He comes back to Esperanza and successfully talks to both Zeit and Traum in their worlds. From there, the Dreamers find Morendo and take him to their homeworld. In the fourth book, he’s mainly focused on Sayaw and finding a way to destroy Dreamworld and Nightmare World. He gains a bond with Traum and Zeit. The occasional disappearance of him and Sayaw. With the help of the two new characters, he does destroy both worlds. By the final book, he’s the only taking care of the leftover mutated humans/Dreamers. Until later when Con steps in and helps out Morendo. His body is under a lot of stress and he always needs clarification everything will be all right. Morendo dies at the end.
I can roleplay Sayaw, but she’s mostly just the fourth and fifth book. She’s always searching for Zeit and hanging out with Traum and Morendo if she’s not looking for Zeit. I can roleplay her from the first book where she met Traum before she died. It’s be hard to meet her since she never goes outside ? She never leaves the orphanage. Very rarely she does, so that kinda rules out the first book. She’s at the very end of the second book, being the first person to meet Morendo in Dreamer’s Homeworld.
Con would be an experience for me. He’s in book three, four, and five. Book three it’s mostly just him and Zeit. He hides from any dreamer. In the fourth book, he continues to hide but then starts to follow(stalk, I guess?) Zeit. He’s always wandering around, receiving messages from Dreamers, etc. He’s the first Dreamer. He has all answers to who Dreamers were before the world he was raised in. He killed the two new characters against his will. The fifth and final book, he takes memories. He tries to kidnap Zeit. Eventually, he joins with everyone else. He helps Morendo with the remaining survivors. He steals all the wishes and hopes of the dead and converts to power at the end of the final book. He dies along with Morendo creating a new world for the people like Zeit, Traum, and Sayaw.
Now for personalities.
We know Traum in Dreamworld. In Dreamer’s Homeworld, he’s sweet, loving, and optimistic. He’s shy and curious. With a stranger, he’ll want to get to know them. In the beginning of the fourth book, he’ll ask if they’ve seen anyone like him in a odd circus-looking outfit. Exact same face, being they are twins. Final book, he’s still trying, but it’s obvious the bit of hope he’s lost. The things he destroyed. The people he couldn’t save.
Zeit in the third book is very weary and solely dependent on Con after his memories are taken in both Nightmare and Dreamworld. Before that, he’s very kind and always tries to wake a dreamer up from the nightmares(Nightmare world, ofc). In Dreamworld, he’s almost scared of them for reasons he doesn’t know. In the fourth book, he’s in difference places of Dreamer’s Homeworld. Usually forests. When he sees someone, he usually tries to run, but if he confronts them he gets quite nervous and does anything possible to quickly find an opening to escape. By the middle of the fourth book, he opens up to people. Still a little nervous and new at meeting people, but tries to be mellow. At the end, he gains a love for meeting strangers and acquiring some sort of bond with them.
Morendo in the second book is sort of quiet and hard to get to talk to. He’s very unsure how to talk to others, but never found the need to unless he needed help. Even if that did happen, he’d find his tongue tied. He’s shut off in a way? Kind of hard to get to know personally in every book if you just met him. In the fourth book, he starts to learn how to communicate with others thanks to Sayaw. He’s still usually distant from others(since he’s usually focusing on something else), but he doesn’t seem as cold as before. He warms up a little faster. Smiles a little more. In the final book, he’s stressed, but puts on a good face for others. Always helping out those in need. Keeping things in order. He tries too hard.
Con doesn’t communicate with anyone but Zeit in the second book unless necessary. In the fourth book, he’s cold to just about everyone but Zeit. He’ll avoid everyone. Just about ignores everyone. But he’s sensitive. He’s at least willing to hear someone out once. He’d be hard to work with. Fifth book, he takes memories, so I don’t think that’s much to work with until he warms up later on. Helps out. Dies at the end.
