a/n- this is my first formal imagine so i hope you guys like it
you yawned as you stepped into your house, the tiredness of my early morning practice kicking in. you had just started taper so the practice wasn’t hard but you were still tired enough to take a nap. you hopped in the shower quickly to get the chlorine out of your curly, brown hair so you didn’t smell bad for when Shawn got home. He had about a two week break and was prepared to spend it all with you. you spent most of our time at his place because the fans didn’t know that you were together yet. you laid down in your comfortable queen sized bed and closed your eyes.
Next thing you knew, you felt an arm snake around my waist and pull me close. you quickly rotated around and gave Shawn a huge hug, the drowsiness from your nap evident on your face.
“Good morning babe,” Shawn said, earning a hum in response.
you stared into his beautiful brown eyes before you felt him pull you into a kiss, something you’ve waited months for. you sat up, suddenly not tired anymore and he moved up to copy your position. you smiled a huge toothy grin and he grabbed his phone. you watched as he opened snapchat and started putting the camera on you.
“Shaaaawwwwwnnnn. Put the camera down!” you exclaimed holding your hands in front of your face. He chuckled a deep throaty laugh as he shook his head no.
“Not until you smile!” he replied as you reached out and tried (and failed) and take the phone from him. Giving up, you gave the camera a goofy grin and waited a second, thinking he was taking a picture.
“There! Will you put the phone down now?” you asked, slightly giggling.
“No,” Shawn smirked as you stuck your tongue out at him like a four year old.
He finally set his phone down as you turned on the tv. you curled up into his side and fell asleep watching The Office, one of your mutual favorites.
You swiftly fell asleep in his arms, a feeling you missed greatly. When you woke up, you peered over your shoulder and saw Shawn fast asleep, exhausted from his months on tour and in the studio. You slowly reached and grabbed your phone, trying not to wake the sleeping giant. You opened up snapchat and went to watch your friends stories when you noticed one from shawn. It was a video of you telling him to put the camera down from earlier and then a picture of you two cuddled up while you were asleep. The former captioned “the most beautiful girl in the world” and the latter captioned “love of my life”
You suddenly realized that this meant you had come out as a couple and screamed a little.
“What, Y/n? Why’d you scream?”
“You just outed us as a couple to your fans via snapchat.”
“Yeah, I was sick of not being able to show you off.”
