How old are the Loblings now?

Also, what does the timeline of a lobster's life look like? These quinoa are going to have a lot of growing to do before they reach breeding size, will they even be adults within the year?

The Loblings were born throughout June, so they are currently about a month old.

They absolutely will not be adults within the year! Lobsters are very slow growing. This is our one year old lobling:

They will not reach adulthood until 6-7 years and they can live for well over 100 years if they avoid getting eaten.

I have a headcanon that Paul Matthews was raised to be very aware of his bluntness and social inept behaviours as a kid and teenager (and constantly corrected and scrutinised for that by the people in his environment). To the point where he was basically performing his whole childhood. But, deciding when he grew up and went to college that 'no fuck it, im done catering to people's perception of me' and became weirdly secure in himself. Now he's not afraid to set boundaries and be blunt sometimes. Growth.

And then comes Pokey basically becoming the placeholder of all that Paul heard growing up (ex. Lived an awful grinch named Paul -- "why aren't you smiling more, Paul! You must be miserable" , And the words will come to you/We swear we will teach you -- "learn all the social cues! Act like us!", Is your heart so damp and bleak/That you won’t give us a peek of your soul?, -- let it out!

But that's just me.

Ted making fun of Bill for not wanting to drink in case they need a designated driver by pointing out that the cops who would pull him over are infected is really interesting cause Ted's philosophy is that since the cops are infected and law doesn't matter anymore, you can just drink and drive because he's not concerned with safety, he's just concerned with being caught. Meanwhile Bill is actually responsible and undestands why DUI is illegal.
