this guy is a high ranking member of his local guild, having attained super rank along with his team, team smelt.

he's often relaxed, and quick to make jokes (he rarely misses an opportunity for a really shitty pun).

due to being nocturnal, while the rest of his team is active during the day, he often eats chesto berries so he can have the energy to explore with them.

the dagger he has was a gift from his close friend and team leader, Alice Sledge, a tinkaton who works as a blacksmith. his other teammate, a quilava named charcoal, joined the team much later, but pyrite found himself getting along with him pretty quickly, admiring his careful planning and strategizing in dungeons.
