not really sure why it's considered debatable weather or not it's atsushi talking in the last panel. i mean dazai was the one telling him he needs to "realize" something, and atsushis response is that he gets it. i'm only left wondering if he's talking about dazai, or these weird hallucination things as a whole. maybe the hallucinations mean something more that we don't know yet. the way i see it, it's also not necessarily atsushi "talking",more so his inner dialogue. either way im tweaking to find out more next month, considering this means we're either finding out more about the mysterious mf dazai is, or about atsushis hallucinations and what they really mean. i'd also say i never actually saw these scenes as hallucinations, but atsushi turning to his imagination when he's in a pickle .

can we also talk about how much of an asshole dazai is being in this? sure it's not necessarily ACTUALLY dazai as it still very well could be atsushis imagination, [unless it's not his imagination and actually visions or something] but this shows how atsushi may finally be seeing dazai for who he really his. A BITCH. did he find out about the abuse cycle? or is he just realizing how dazai is NOT so much "better" as he likes to act? i mean dazai has in no way been a saint to atsushi despite being a much better mentor than he was to akutagawa... that is if it IS referring to dazai as a character and not atsushis weird daydreaming shenaniganssssYAPYAPYAPYAPYAP

i know i made it sound like i was done but just HEAR ME OUT. so yknow how dazai is based off the book no longer human? about a guy creating fake personalities? what if dazai is a fake personality. like he's not real. made up by atsushi. but then other people knowing him wouldn't really make a lot of sense....idk help me out here.
