the set list for the wings tour final feels like reliving bts’ journey. they’re taking armys down memory lane and going right back to their roots, performing all the songs that got them where they are today. the debut tracks, the hits, the old faves and new faves. it’s all so surreal. things have changed a lot since the release of a lot of these songs, they reflect so many of the boy’s thoughts and feelings from back then to hear them singing the lyrics now just brings this whole new dimension to them.

the way that they changed up bits of the old lyrics too, namjoon and yoongi in particular, showing how much they’ve evolved as people. simultaneously acknowledging who they once were and letting us know who they are now. there’s so much to respect about that.
