Love that I spent 2.5 hours creating, recording, and editing a video to teach blood typing to my kids...and the audio just isn’t there? It’s there in iMovie and then when I export and upload the file there’s nothing. I cannot explain how sick and tired I am of this school year.

I’ve just about had it with this biology binder. Google Doc looks perfect. Convert to PDF and then all of a sudden there’s weird ass spacing. So I’ve been going back and forth fiddling with spacing. Now the PDFs look good and the Google Doc looks wack. AND I found out I have a kid in my forensics class who I had last year and absolutely CANNOT STAND. Ugh.

So my Work Wife and I may or may not be re-reading the “Twilight Saga” in preparation for “Midnight Sun” releasing in August. Because we may or may not have pre-ordered it. And I’m not gonna lie...I think H.S. me could have written a better book. I’m not even that good a writer, and damn. But am I still going to read the entire series even if it constantly makes me cringe and think of mediocre fanfiction that I may or may not have written as a teenager? Yes.

This is 100% irrelevant, but is currently what I’m doing with my copious amounts of spare time instead of processing the fact that I’m going to be back to school in person in less than a month.

Random morning fun fact: Asha hates dresses. And skirts. And any sort of clothing that even remotely personally gives her Mage Vibes™. If taken to the Winter Palace as a companion she is greatly relieved to be wearing a uniform and not a dress, because she would rather die. [Ultimately she’d wear one if she had to, for the Inquisitor, but she would not like it.]

the tarot cards i posted of her got a lot more attention than i thought they would soooo i thought i’d do some more art of her..! she’s saarebas, my companion oc for DA:I, she escaped the qun by seducing her arvaarad and burning down her entire karataam; before her magic developed she was a priestess and was also being considered for the ben-hassrath. she fled south at around the time of the 5th blight, and spent time in seheron, rivain and antiva before coming down to kirkwall to pick a fight with the arishok, also met hawke and generally hung around for a bit before leaving for the inquisition, where she still hangs out and occasionally burns stuff. she still has all her chains, mask and shackles, and she still wears them in battle as an intimidation tactic

she doesn’t talk much (in trade, she loves to wax philosophical in qunlat) and prefers to observe after being mute for so many years and comes across as very stoic and intimidating. she considers herself qunari, but she thinks the philosophy of the qun is twisted by the people who operate it and generally advocates for the plight of saarebas around the south. she is exceedingly powerful as a mage and therefore more or less untouchable for the majority of her travels, so she got bored and figured she’d try to help stop the breach, since it’s dangerous and she hates demons. ya

He was grateful to be in such a position, especially after what had occurred in Kirkwall, but sometimes it was too much for one man to handle. Cullen was nothing if not stubborn dedicated to his work.

He made his next move on the board as he spoke. “Now that is a sentiment I can understand. It is… good, at times, to have something predictable to lean on. As predictable as a war can be, in any case. For some reason I assumed the Qunari lived in close quarters. That is not the case, then?”

“When we are young, yes. Much closer quarters than many in the lands beyond Par Vollen,” she agrees, “But after that...well, it depends on what your purpose is.”

She trails off, brows knitting together as she moves her next piece. It isn’t surprising to hear that not everyone in the South understood the intricacies of life under the Qun. The fact that he knows anything at all about their lifestyle is impressive in and of itself.

“My kind moved constantly, always in a small group. So having a permanent place to stay and so many people around has been an adjustment.”

Cocking her head to the side, she straightens, “You are...were a Templar, yes? You must have lived in close quarters as well.”
