Hello, I'm Merch(ant) or Benz. I don't mind what pronouns you use for me (but I have a slight preference for he/him and she/her), and I'm 16. DMs are always open, and critique is always welcome. I also have a Reddit (which has my art dating back to September 2020) and a DeviantArt.

Under “Keep reading” are the request rules I have (for future reference), as well as how I tag potentially distressing content.

I will NOT draw under any circumstances:

porn

extreme/sadistic gore

incestuous or pedophillic ships 

real people ships (including fictionalized versions of real people, i.e. hamilton characters)

political or bigoted art

artstyles different from mine (in requests)

anything i'm personally uncomfortable with.

I will draw these under certain circumstances, dm me for more details:

Don't be afraid to get specific with your request by the way! If you want the background a certain color or a character wearing a specific hat, tell me.

As for my tagging system, I tag in the format "cw x". The following are topics that I will tag for this way, if they ever pop up in my art. Note that this is only based on the piece itself, not the larger media it may be based on:

alcohol

blood

drug use**

firearms

gore

knives***

murder

suicide

weapons****

*This is difficult to define in the context of a single piece, but I will try my best. Note that this is specifically for really serious content, not merely bitchiness or a rivalry.

**Excludes medication/over the counter used as intended, but includes smoking.

***Includes swords.

****What counts as a weapon will depend on the context of the piece. A bat being used to play baseball won't get the tag, but if it's stained in blood it will.

Please be patient with me. I'll try to get to you within a month at most, but keep in mind I have school, responsibilities as well as other things to draw.

To formally kick the blog off, I did this fanart of the YouTuber DarknessStone (psst, he only has 4k subs and deserves way more!) and idk I think it's cool, especially because I finally learned how to draw beards and glasses.
