Who am I and what's the purpose of this blog

Hi everyone, I'm Mercurie Lampe, also known as Dana Lionheart. I write stories about Barbatos and Chastille (An Archdemon's Dilemma: how to love your elf bride) and post them on Archive of Our own (Ao3) and I created this blog as another way to find more people who like this pairing. I'm more active on BlueSky 🦋 but sometimes I wish I could have more space to write all my thoughts about this couple... so perhaps I use this space to write them down from time to time 🙇‍♀️ If you find this blog and like my stories, kudos and comments are appreciated 🥰 I love to talk about these two too (any language is fine!) Summary:

Birthdays always bring the perfect opportunity to look into the future and see everything you’ve accomplished…

…wait, aren’t you supposed to reflect on the past when you turn one year older?

It’s the 15th of Kavouras, Barbatos’ birthday, and while he’s taking a stroll in town to kill time until night arrives, he finds a lost boy whom he knows quite well. On the day his existence in this world is celebrated, the past meets the present, and Barbatos will have to look after the lost boy until his time to go back home comes; because it’s never too late to heal your inner child.

This story belongs to my “Born with a broken heart” series and it serves as closure to it.

Summary:

The spell Barbatos put on Chastille has proven to be quite effective, since she hasn’t received any unwanted proposals since then. However, the mark he left on her is beginning to fade, and Chastille asks Barbatos to place it again; but be careful, since not only snakes, but rodents can also bite.

Summary:

There are a lot of ways to enjoy summer. This is a collection of six short stories focused on Barbatos and Chastille during the summer season. Such stories consist of: 1. A worried father who thinks his children don't want him near them anymore (Series: The Lillqvist family). 2. A family visit to introduce a new (foster) member. 3. A god who cannot stand the heat and the not very subtle flirting of his friends. 4. A man who has been deprived of love and affection all his life spending some time alone with his girlfriend during a work break. 5. A courageous girl confesses her love to her boyfriend after she couldn't do it properly when they started their relationship. 6. A sorcerer takes the girl he likes to see sea fireflies in the last day of summer (Story: An Archdemon's Dilemma: How to Babysit a Crybaby Knight).

I recently discovered this format to share my stories, so perhaps I’ll use this from now on  🙇‍♀️

Summary:

“I want to see blue flowers.” It’s the 19th of Arnaki, Chastille’s fourteenth birthday, but what is she supposed to do on a free day? She wants to buy a cake, but her plans changes when he meets a young sorcerer named Barbatos who offers to take her anywhere she desires. In search of blue flowers, Barbatos and Chastille will find an old church, where they will learn about the flower whose name no one remembers anymore. This is a story about loss, grievance, promises to meet again, and how we can keep those who left us alive in our hearts.

This is a story to celebrate Chastille's birthday. Happy birthday, beloved!
