slightly ooc rant under the cut

pov I get distracted in the middle of the night and start binge-scrolling mp100 tags and now I have like 6 new creators to follow and somehow chronically insaner

when you stimulate that stupid ass “WOWEE A FICTIONAL CHARACTER I LOVE!” while simultaneously dealing me the blunt force trauma of literally EVERYONE treating them waaaaay more maturely than I typically do. they’re my comfort characters as well as fucking world-domination obsessed grown men okay 😔

the stuff I’ve posted is all the fluffy side but then I scroll into a rabbit hole and I get reminded of the dark side and it’s like. looks at my drafts. is this mature enough these guys are from the big league am I even fit to play anymore 😭 😭

hhhhh the way I write is so hurt/comfort for this fandom and I don’t like to compromise the complexity of them but it’s!! all explained behind the scenes and now I’ve gotta contend with the fact that I am evidently conflicted but the fact that I enjoy displaying them in more convoluted lights but I also struggle with depicting them properly in those senses 🙂‍↕️

but um anyways please keep being awesome I’ll keep lurking and having my socks blown off

I think Shimazaki is loyal to Claw but not the leader bc Suzuki Touichirou is a mad man. The time he spent with Claw is fun (given the Ultimate 5 were actually close according to Shou in the fanbook) but not when world domination plan started.

I’m not trying to justify his actions, just trying to argue with myself to make some sense out of these panels and share my thoughts.

He was serious when it comes to Claw’s operation, he cares about Claw’s image, even educating Scars and recruit new members (Ritsu). But later on he said:

“Nah i’m not serious, i just did it for fun” 🤡

Fun fun fun

Look at his obviously serious face, this bitch did not find it fun 🙂‍↔️ he fucking lied.

I always imagined it like this:

The moment he heard about world domination, he was like “oh, like taking over the world with power and control? I’m in.”

But once the real world domination plan sets in motion and it was atually taking over the world using brute force (this mf doesn’t enjoy beating on weaklings), he backtracks real quick “Ah shit, i didn’t sign up for this!”, “but i can’t go against the boss either, he’s going to fucking kill me. Better get this over with, i guess.” and there he goes.

*sigh* If only you said the truth, you wouldn’t be spooked by a middle school kid and run like a coward as if getting beaten by someone isn’t embarrassing enough for him. I bet deep down, Shimazaki is a sub.

Thank you for coming to my trash talk. I was waiting for my commissioner to reply but it’s been four hours now so why not revisiting Shimazaki’s “do it for fun” bullshit while i’m at it.

joking about ritsu liking emo music is funny and all but it will never be as funny to me as the canon truth, which is that he doesn't listen to music. him liking mcr or whatever is too ordinary, him not listening to music at all is so out of left field and hilarious to me. ritsu is the funniest character because he tries so hard to seem normal and then he says shit that makes you go "wait. what the fuck" as soon as you think about it for more than three seconds

having a not-very-proud-of-myself moment when I realize that this fandom too has a sort of drop-off point from canon to fanon…

My view of everything has been somewhat cinnamonrollized. I’ve seen and heard mob addressed as a baby too many times and… poor serizawa is a wreck but it became sort of extrapolated.

I dunno. First time I watch mp100, I wasn’t looking for anything. It was just a show I liked…

now I’ve internalized it, and analyzed it, and taken it apart in mind and of essence. i wanted to understand every bit of it… so I consumed as much of it as I could…

…without actually viewing the source….

I’m gonna get the manga one day, but with the anime as the closest thing to my fingertips as of now…

I’m gonna watch it again and again and really get to know everybody.
