It's been a while...but I'm sad and I need comfort.

I know it's been a while since I was on here last.

But I've been having a really busy semester with 13 credit hours in school and I have a paid intership that I work between 17 to 19 hours a week.

But I'm having a super rough week.

My parents, my brother and I had to take my 11 year old kitty to animal services and had her put down yesterday. I'm devastated.

In the last month she lost almost all function to her lower body and my parents had invested nearly 2,000 dollars to find out what was wrong with her, with no conclusive answers. She was in such pain. The picture attached to this post is the last time she sat in my lap. Despite how much pain she was in, and she the fact that she could barely walk. She moved herself from sitting next to me to sitting in my lap. Only for a little while, because the position she was in wasn't comfortable because of her back legs. All I can think is that despite how much pain she was in, that she went through so much effort to comfort me, because she knew I was sad. She put my happiness ahead of her own pain. All she wanted was that little comfort of being in my lap. It was such a small gesture, that I will never forgot. I'm so sorry Orange. I love her and miss her more than anyone can ever imagine.
