Part of surviving is being able to move on.
Alexandra Bracken
“I take off all my clothes and wade out into the icy water and the pain is immense and also nothing nothing nothing.”
—
Charlotte McConaghy, from Migrations (Flatiron Books, 2020)
How do you move on? You move on when your heart finally understands that there is no turning back.
J.R.R. Tolkien
And if there’s something that I’ve learned this year, it’s this: When you truly love something, you choose it over anything else. No matter what the world will say to make you look the other way you choose it and you choose it ferociously. And then you see where life will take you from there.
Juansen Dizon
“I’ve decided to make myself strong. As far as I can tell, that’s all I can do.”
— Haruki Murakami

“If you want to be free, all you have to do is let go.”
— Terry Hayes
“Most people are other people. Their thoughts are someone else’s opinions, their lives a mimicry, their passions a quotation.”
— Oscar Wilde
“Deep in your wounds are seeds waiting to grow into beautiful flowers.”
— Niti Majethia
“Two things to remember in life: Take care of your thoughts when you are alone, and take care of your words when you are with people.”
— Zig Ziglar
“Everybody isn’t going to love you. Most people don’t even love themselves.”
— Unknown
“So why did it take so long for us to realize that this whole time the person we were crazy about was the person we never even thought of?”
— Unknown
“I forgive people. But that doesn’t mean I trust them.”
— Unknown
“You need to learn to select your thoughts just the same way you select your clothes every day. This is a power you can cultivate. If you want to control things in your life … work on the mind.”
— Elizabeth Gilbert
“You can only grow if you’re willing to feel awkward and uncomfortable when you try something new.”
— Brian Tracy
