Its beginning. The wait is over. The writing period is over. It's now time to post our creations and spread cheer and some Merlin movie magic!
For the next 3 weeks we'll be celebrating the various genres of cinema. From drama to comedy to horror to historic and sports to western and many, many more. Each day we'll unveil a new genre and participants will post their fanworks for that genre. The fanworks will be posted primarily on Ao3 but authors can also post their headers or stories on Tumblr and tag us and we'll reblog them!

Inspired to post something but forgot to sign up? Worry not! This year, we are running a more relaxed version of the fest. Meaning, that sign ups run until the end of the fest i.e. amnesty week. Anyone can sign up anytime and post something. You can find our info post with sign up information, rules, posting information right below.
Worried about not finishing on time? No issues! The format of the fest is incredibly easy and flexible. I.e. drabbles, drawbbles, gifs anything will suffice. It's the creativity that we value. And of course, we also value long fics and intricate artworks as those are the jewels of this fandom. So, what are you waiting for? Come join us for some movie mania today!
