has anyone made a post yet about the likelihood of cazador szarr having never been a spawn, or do i have to do it because unless im forgetting something critical, from everything i remember, it only points to him having been a weaker/less experienced vampire than Vellioth, not a spawn. in the memories he was never compelled, and all of the examples of ways Vellioth taught his ‘lessons’ were all tailored to a true vampire.

even the fact that cazador was capable of performing the rite of perfect slaughter on vellioth proves that he mustnt have been a spawn, he was capable of doing it presumably against vellioths wishes (ignoring vellioths laughter i suppose)

along with the fact that it seems all Szarrs we know of have been true vampires. Donella, Cazador, even the ones from the letters and presumably cut content, Grandam Fistula (lol), Blovart and Dralia, even Amanita who was only around 13 (iirc).

if anyone has anything to add, id love to hear it, but ive thought about this a lot. i dont think cazador szarr has ever been a spawn and i think the assumptions of it are merely because of the similarities in his story (being tortured) and what he did to astarion (torturing him and the other spawn)
