MERLIN | 5.01 Arthur’s Bane pt. 1
Arthur Returns AU
george weasley was always the hotter brother and that’s conversation not many of you are ready for
Eventually your favorite fandom will forever be forgotten... except you the Merlin fandom you'll never die out and its kinda concerning.
We’ve technically been here since 1100AD, and still going strong.
bbc merlin 04x10 - A Herald of the New Age
what gets me is that no matter how many times they’ve been in this position, arthur is always taken by surprise
In my mind, after his death, Merlin tried so hard to remember all Arthur’s little details.
The way he used to wrinkle his eyes when he smiled at him. The shape of his mouth. That perfectly imperfect curve of his nose. The Crown on his blonde hair. His callous hands.
But after years he realized that he couldn’t really remember any of it. Not his face. Not his voice. Not the way he used to make fun of him.
Five hundred years later he still misses him with all his heart but the truth is he doesn’t even remember Arthur anymore, not really.
He is in love with a memory.
And still, he will wait for him forever.
Eventually your favorite fandom will forever be forgotten... except you the Merlin fandom you'll never die out and its kinda concerning.
THE DOUBLE 墨雨云间 │2024, Ep. 39

Fuuuck yes dude its reading too much into a side character time
Give this man another villain role because he completely killed this 🔥
Wanning has a pretty tragic death but it was really inevitable by how many people she was actively making hate her. It was one of the darkest moments when after Li Jing stops freaking out after Shen Yurong coldly admits she’s dead, he grins down at her dead body and Shen Yurong hearing his fake wails of grief smirks too
I hate both of these men but…I completely understand this. She treated them as less than human, even purposely humiliated their parents and in Shen Yurong’s case, coerced him into violent sex.
In the end she died with many people probably uttering a sigh of relief and no one genuinely grieving for her. Li Meng is incredible for bringing such complexity to the role. There were many times I felt uncomfortable watching her performance. Her Princess Wanning was almost animalistic in her desire to hurt others but could also be gut wrenchingly vulnerable like a child. Round of applause!

Xiao Heng and Xue Li's flirting making people nauseous, a series...
I do love that every time someone tries to set Jiang/Xue Li up, she winds up able to get out of it by saying “oh well you wouldn’t call Duke Su a liar would you?”
And everyone’s just like “why the fuck was he there?”
And Duke Su is like “why do you keep using me for favors?”
And the answer to both is because he is constantly stalking her and making himself easy to use.
When I started watching The Double, I was trying to pinpoint why it felt so familiar, both visually (utterly gorgeous) and the insane OTP chemistry and dynamic between them, well, it turns out it's helmed by the director of Go Princess Go and Oh My General, who brought his trusty fan wind machine and petals along the ride. Sure, he has a bigger budget now and is limited by more censorship restrictions but it's still his signature style.
Seriously, so many scenes feel like homage shots to Go Princess Go that I've started to rewatch it like Pavlov's dog.
The trusty fan machine never fails.
The extra and gorgeous male lead (with a fan) with a penchant for dramatic poses.
Romance among flower petals.
Tragic death among flower petals.
Heroine taking the lead in a dance with the male lead.
Female lead openly thirsting after the hero.
