Comic-Con 2013

This year's Comic-Con is going to be the greatest yet. No, the schedule is not out yet. No, I don't quite have all of my lodgings figured out. No, I don't have access to any special parties (yet). So what makes it so amazing? I get to share it with my love and best friend.

Golden Eggs

Sometimes I can't stand my boss. He is always going after the "next big thing" before we have completed the previous project. I know he has major A.D.D. but that is one of the things my other boss (co-owners of the company) should be helping curtail. We have a great thing going and he wants us to divert precious resources (which we have WAY too few of) aiming at a goal that is a year off or more. If we just focused on the opportunities at hand we could get to a place that allows us to increase our resources and then go after the "next big thing".

Back Pain

Woke up with some back pain again today. It's not quite as bad as yesterday but I feel like I should do something about it.

I'm getting old :-(

Work work work

Work is kicking my ass today. Two and a half days left in this scrum and still a lot to accomplish! Posting on tumblr is not helping it go any faster.

Truthful Tuesday

I've been told I'm not quite doing tumblr right so here we go.

1) Had to go on site for an emergency training this morning. Our major client is a major pain in the ass and can't do anything right. How many companies send their lead architect out to do training anyways?

2) I got a call confirming an appointment for a timeshare tour this weekend and as a "bonus" for keeping my appointment I am getting two dodgers tickets, score! Never been to a dodgers game before.

3) Went for the first bike ride with my new tires since running over a screw a week ago. It took 6 days for the repair shop to put two new tires and two new tubes in, a bit ridiculous if you ask me. Even though it's been a week since I last went I actually had a better lap time than previously, go me!

Not sure this is good enough for a truthful tuesday but I know my friends will let me know ;-)

Bicycle Repair

I am saddened by the fact that I will be missing my Thursday bicycle ride since it is going to take a week to fix my flat tire :-(

On a similar note, how does it take a frikken week to replace two tires and two tubes on a bicycle?
