Please consider reblogging this/other positivity posts for schizophrenic/psychotic people every once in a while. If you have more than 100 followers, odds are that a couple of them experiences psychosis and that they rarely see positivity posts for people with their symptoms.

idk if i just have bad luck but it seems like most of the tf2 fandom circles are just people talking shit because they don't like someone else's interpretation of the mercs, insulting people and making them feel bad because they like a certain character, tearing each other down and trying to make other people feel stupid for having personal preferences. no one is allowed to have fun in this fandom and it makes me feel like i am constantly wrong for my opinion. everyone has become so nasty and mean, i miss the 2017 era tf2 fandom when everyone was allowed to write even "ooc" fics and they wouldn't get ripped apart for it. honestly this fandom burned me out so badly i basically have no desire to create anything for it anymore.

Noting that this will improve slightly come Oct when all the NA kids are back in school and off the internet cuz they've got school or whatever, but...

Honestly it's just about finding your place. I will say that the places you'll find the most mature TF2 fans isn't Twitter. It's mostly Tumblr and Discord, and Discord varies widely. Some servers are chill, some aren't.

I would recommend just having a break from TF2 entirely and not engaging with the fandom for a bit. Sometimes you gotta let things lie until they rekindle themselves. Otherwise the burnout just keeps getting worse.
