OMG, I JUST SAW THIS LIKE 2 WEEKS LATER.  I’m soooo sorry, I never got a notification or anything!  

I’ve been MIA for awhile, but I do have every intention of finishing that story at some point.  Work has been crazy for the last few months but hopefully things will be changing soon and I can get back to writing.   

And HR is a sweet precious cinnamon roll and I’m glad nothing bad ever happened to him and he’s still out there writing and drinking coffee and being a best supportive friend to everyone.  #denial

‘You did everything you could’ - Earth Two Harrison Wells

A/N: Long time no see. I do not own the photo. Wish I did but I don’t. Also fun news. I will take requests if people want. Not to worry, if no-one wants to request, but if they do just send me a message in my inbox or whatever. I’ll be happy to oblige.

Earth two was always quieter without one of the Wells and now both of them had disappeared for a while. Life had been removed from the earth once Harry had gone through the portal. He had only said he was going to fix a few things in the Portal Room. When he hadn’t appeared she had gone looking for him.

She panicked for a few hours when she couldn’t hear his cynicism worming its way around the building. Calm flooded her when she figured it out. Earth one, or as the team there called it, was in danger. Harry would always help them, even if he was scared to admit himself.

Now her arms clung desperately to his pillow, his scent still heavy on the soft material. It was no lie that the bed was colder but so was her whole world. She pretended daily, as her smiles flooded the floors and inspired the workers, that Harry being gone wasn’t affecting her.

“If you cling any tighter to that pillow. I won’t be able to use it anymore” His dulcet tones sung to her. Her whole body freezing in shock as she followed the source.

There he stood, his suit weighing his back down and his head hung in sadness. He was peering up at her, his shoulder resting on the doorframe. His bag dangling in his grip. She threw herself at him, her arms wrapping themselves around his neck and his bag dropping from his hand as he wrapped his own around her waist.

“HR” he started only to tense. She understood, she wasn’t as intelligent as him but she understood, that the very essence of the name stabbed at him.

“You did everything you could” She found herself responding as she stepped backwards, her arms still around his neck. He allowed himself to be dragged onto the bed, the mattress forming around their bodies as they embraced.

“I should have done more, the idiot.” He grumbled, “And not just him but Allen. The speed force took him”

i was thinking about harry’s reaction to hr’s death and of course i ended up hanging a left at harrisco angst. have some pining harry pain. 

The guilt comes, eventually. Blunt and dull and gnawing at Harry until he’s sore inside. It blooms like an opening fist. It settles. It stays.

But it doesn’t come first. The pain, the regret, the grief - all of it is an afterthought. When Allen tells him HR is gone, Harry’s gut swoops hot and every ugly part of him flashes bright behind his eyes.

A/N: ~2850 words. In the beginning, the story takes place sometime after First Class, as Charles first gets his school up and running.

This boy is unstable.

You hated it when they were unstable, but it was apart of your job. Charles expected you and the others to follow through. Recruitments for his school mean everything to him. Saving these kids from society and themselves rested on your colleague’s shoulders. Bless him and his grand altruistic schemes.

Rested - (Harry Wells x Reader)

A/N: Just a little drabble I thought up. I’m having writer’s block on a few stories and I’m waiting for the new season to start now.

You loved watching Harry sleep.

He didn’t rest anywhere near enough, which you probably told him at least five times a day, but there was always too much working, too much worrying for him to contend with.

But when he did eventually decide to rest, normally after you having told him repeatedly to do until he gave in, he slept peacefully.

You ran your hand gently through his soft, dark curls as you studied his relaxed features. He always looked younger asleep, more innocent, with no frown to show everyone that he carried the weight of the world on his shoulders.

He shifted slightly in his sleep, draping his arm around your waist and pulling you closer. It made you smile slightly and you shuffled towards him a little more, running your hand lightly over his upper arm.

You placed a chaste kiss to his jaw before resting your head against his chest, slowly falling asleep to the soft sound of his breathing and his strong, even heartbeat.

You loved watching Harry sleep. There were no monsters, no distractions. Just the two of you in your own little world, a safe-haven.

Just you and your Harry - calm, content and rested.
