Oooof, huntrix as pokemon trainers!!! Any team headcanons? Certain types they’d like? I mean.. definitely Mira + Milotic bc you have to right? For Rumi def a dragon type… maybe Altaria or .. Shelgon bc ofc a pokemon with a shell that turns lethal once it evolves. For Zoey.. Water type for sure. Squirtle !! Cute turtles for the win? What do u think?

Great question. I thought I didn't have much to say about this, but when I started pondering it I had so many ideas that I got overwhelmed and had to reign it back

For main pokemon, I will die on the Rumi + Arcanine hill. They are the same person.

As a trainer, I think Rumi would have extreme main character / cooltrainer energy and have a deliberate coverage of types. She'd use starters and all the typical powerhouses you pick up on an average play. Not original, but still effective.

As for Zoey, I love the squirtle/wartortle HC especially, but in the interests of not just pilfering from @assortedbowloffruit's excellent pokemon ideas, I also like poliwrath. Cute lil guy to massive brute pipeline fits her nicely. Zoey to me is a trainer who picks her favourites regardless of strength/strategy, but conditions them to the point you get annihilated by like a qwilfish, a spheal and a wooper

For Mira, I couldn't not draw her with a flying type after falconer mira rearranged my brain. I think she would gravitate towards pokemon that aren't necessarily cuddly and friendly, but who she can build a bond with regardless. In battle I like to believe she would prefer ghost and poison types, and battling with meticulous traps and abilities (the ol' toxic + minimize perhaps).
