Mercury has a sweet tooth but prefers things like crepes and sweeter fruits over processed sugar treats. Yet she loves soda.

Adam let out a sigh.

Here goes nothing.

“Did you sit in a pile of sugar? Because you have a sweet ass.”

“...”

She stared at him in silence, not sure how to take the comment, especially while eating her latest steal which was a strawberry crepe.

“I see… This may sound unorthodox, but if you ever need a place to go, my door is always open.”

He tucked Mercury’s loose strands of hair behind her ear before retracting his hand. “That bad, huh? It’s okay, I wouldn’t screw them either. They’re a bunch of freaks.” He then offered a small smile. “Sure. Just as long as it doesn’t interfere too much with my work.”

Well now, that certainly was a surprise. She hadn’t expected an open invitation to stay with him. She partly wandered if it was the after glow high he was on.

“You’re sweet but I need to keep an eye on Emerald. Surprising enough but she’s the more self destructive of the two of us.” she paused, crossing her arms. “Yeah, I wouldn’t do nothing to get in the way of your work.”

“Yes, well, while I respect Cinder, I can’t say I agree with her methods. I just don’t really see you following someone like that, but I suppose we all have our reasons.”

Another laugh escaped him. “You’re saying you haven’t had any male partner who was able to keep up? I guess I should be flattered.” He reached out to gently play with strands of her hair in between his fingers. “I’m more than willing to make this a regular thing. It’ll be nice…”

“She was a ‘in the moment’ follow that I’ve just stuck with.” Mercury explained. “I really don’t see a place for me anywhere so, as long as I’m given a place... I’ll stick around.”

Mercury watched him play with her hair for a moment. “Considering I’d rather kill myself than screw the guys working for Cinder’s boss... I don’t exactly have a lot of options for the male partners at the moment. she stared him down. “Well then... perhaps we can hash something out to make this a thing?”

Adam softly laughed, turning to lay on his wide while propping his head up with his arm. Parts of him were going to be sore tomorrow, that’s for sure, but the sex was so worth it.

“Thanks… I hope I was able to meet your expectations. You’ve certainly met mine.” He smirked as he looked her over once more.

“You’re a lot calmer than when we first met. Then again, Cinder has that habit of bringing out the worst reactions in people.” she stated, adjusting herself to face him.

“Still...” she paused. It’s been nice... having a male partner that can actually keep up in between the sheets.” she smirked. “I may just let this be a more regular thin... if you’re up for that.”

And so, they had their fun. One thing led to another, and Mercury wasn’t kidding when she said she was very good with her mouth. The Faunus laid beside her under the covers of the bed, catching his breath while coming down from the high of his pleasure.

“That…was amazing.”

She sat up, not bothering to attempt to cover herself as there was no point to it. Her stomach still had the after effect butterfly feeling, that uncomfortable fluttery effect a good, raw, fucking gave when you hadn’t had one in awhile. Well, not with a male partner at least.

“Compliments are greatly appreciated~” she purred, smirking as she turned at looked at him. “You’re pretty damn fantastic yourself, Taurus.”
