All these older radical women give me life. Thank you for loving women and teaching me how to love and prioritise women too.
when gnc females realize that femininity isn’t something they can do (or want to do), they are painfully reminded, every day, that they are still female, and will still be treated as female regardless of how well they perform, of how they identify. the world will not change for them. the catcalls will not stop. the abuse will not stop.
when gnc males do not practice the trappings of masculinity, they become convinced that the world must change to accommodate them, and their new identities as women. penises are female. woman is an identity. misgendering is violence, biological reality must be twisted to accommodate them.
this is what socialization is. this is what it looks like, and it is very real.

reblog if you’re a radical feminist/lesbian supporting/gender critical blog
i just made this blog after coming out as a radfem to my old community and being shunned into isolation. please reblog or like this post if you are any of the above and it is ok for me to follow you!
“Pro choice” should extend to a woman and girl’s right to choose alternatives to PIV sex (because actually, no, neither sex ed nor liberal feminism is stressing this choice, as both still emphasise the normality of men fucking women, stressing only that women must protect themselves when they inevitably get fucked by men). Het sex is the cause of pregnancy. MANY women and girls around the world are having unwanted/forced/coerced PIV sex that they wouldn’t be having if men did not force it on them, and if patriarchal culture at large did not normalise PIV sex despite it being NOTABLY (like, A WHOLE LOT, according to both studies and good ol’ word of mouth) less enjoyable for women than it is for men. I’m pro women and girls being able to choose not to have sex with men. I mean, really choose. Like, get taught from day one that PIV sex is not “something you just do” in a het relationship. It’s not something women and girls must suffer through, or simply endure (especially given that somewhere between 75-93% of women do not even orgasm from PIV). It’s not the only type of sex there is. It’s a heterosexual act, the purpose and outcome of which is pregnancy without protection (and sometimes even with protection), and we all know who bears most of the burden when it comes to protection.
the way men perceive women is utterly inseparable from violent and predatory misogyny. if a male artist and a female artist create the exact same painting of a naked woman, the male artist’s painting will be depicting an object, an interactive target of male power and lust, while the female artist’s painting will be depicting an autonomous character, a being of choices and of a comprehensive and knowable body. no matter what similar physical manifestations men and women have in the ways they perceive women, they will always draw from entirely distinct social positions and intentions
