Tetsubin has a 400-year history rooted in the Japanese Tea Ceremony and is valued worldwide for its elegant craftsmanship and its ability to enhance the flavor of water—making tea taste richer, milder, and smoother. It also releases trace amounts of iron into the water, offering health benefits, especially for those with low iron levels.

So, tetsubins are great, however:
Rounder flavour and less harshness are both symptoms of harder water, and I really don't have to explain how if you put iron in the water it's harder.
So the first thing is pretty much untrue if the rest is true.
Also tetsubins are annoying to take care of because of rust and the western style enameled tetsubins are annoying because the enamel cracks with temperature variations.
Just buy an electric kettle, you can even see the water get softer in a glass electric kettle, because of all the limescale buildup on the bottom. And if you want a tetsubin just be sure to take care of it because drinking rust is not smart.
Overbrewed some ripe puerh and it gave a lot of raw puerh fishy taste instead of the regular earthy notes.
It doesn't taste bad I just didn't expect it.

I always wondered why this church is painted pink (it doesn't show well on the photo, but it's very light pink)

Only after meditating do I see the world in front of me, and that really sucks.
I have to go.
Had fun riding my bike with my friend, even though I had to sacrifice my sinuses for the next two days.
My friend took the last two pictures.
God I love tea.
