Bad Karma, on the hunt for her Corporal.

Basically, mine and my friend's ocs are rotting my brain. Lore under the cut.

Hotsauce and Bad Karma were military experiments for an undead and reviving army. They were the only successful candidates, while the rest of their squad was lost to the war that killed them both. The General of their military saw this as both a colossal failure and his greatest achievement. Their injuries were a minor setback, but who's to say that they couldn't work around them? So what if they came back with canine characteristics? They were the last of his best! He could improve the project immensely with their help.

If the two of them didn't disappear off base one day.

After disappearing completely off the map, the two live in the middle of nowhere in a wooded cabin. With the dog Sauce found on base one day. Everyone say We Love You Rocky.

Somehow The General finds them. Somehow Hotsauce is kidnapped and used as bait to lure Bad Karma back.

Staff Sergeant Bad Karma was his best. She did everything asked of her with more than brutal efficiency. She didn't ask questions. Didn't baby her soldiers. It was a cosmic surprise that she even tolerated the Corporal with a stupid callsign. She knew the numerous bases like the back of her own horrific hands. She's their own personal Simon Riley. They used her as superstition. A threat to rookies and security displeasures.

And the General needed her back. His right hand woman. His personal attack dog. What better way to do that than take her last string of sanity away? While they were at it, they could make this poor amnesiac with his brain leaking from his skull useful.

What better way to rebuild what the General had lost?

What better way to lose their entire base population?

What better way to destroy the man who did this to her?

In case anyone finds it helpful because mobility aids are horrifically expensive and inaccessible…

And for those people who have access to mobility devices but might benefit from a second chair they can abuse without risking expensive damage…

Erik Kondo has made a website, Open Source Innovations, that details plans for DIY wheelchairs. These wheelchairs can be made from common materials like wood, plastic, and pvc. They are lightweight and can be custom fit to the user allowing from the same degree of movement you would get from a custom chair. And they are durable and easily repairable. (he has been stress testing his latest design by dropping it down stairs, dropping it out of a car, launching it across a driveway, and throwing it off a deck). Its 12lbs and I think he said its was in the $200 ish range for parts.

He also is working on cheap, open source, accessible designs for beach chairs, off road chairs, motorized attachments (think smart drive), and so on. Plus he skateboards in his wheelchair. Cool dude, helpful info, pass it on.

It's incredibly sad people have to resort to this, but it's a damn good resource. Use it. Spread awareness. Maybe one day people with physical disabilities won't need DIYs like this. But until then, reblog and share.
