                    sarcasm etched in his voice, he masks his genuine CURIOSITY as to why the boy had been staring at him like that—– gold pools scrutinizing his body until the sin BROKE under the pressure of the stare. maybe it was in hopes to see the host of this youthful body in his own FLESH again, but that wasn’t going to happen anytime soon—– the alchemist could keep dreaming; as long as the PARASITE still possesses the vessel, there’s nothing the sovereign caged within his own body can do.

                    he quickly adverts his wandering mind when he feels TREPIDATION from speaking before knocking on wood crawl up his spine, && his heliotrope gaze falls off the blonde && travels across the room.

Sarcasm was met with sarcasm as the teen crossed his arms defensively, hoping that particular purpose would be hidden behind his usual curtain of attitude. If he had been able to catch himself when his thoughts had been flying off before, he wouldn’t have to explain now.

How could Ed even explain the absolute confusion that seeing both a friend and what should probably be an enemy in one spot caused? How it left his mind wandering trying to figure out what that really meant?

“Wake up! Wake up! It’s just a dream!” “What were you dreaming about…? You were shouting…” “I woke up because you were screaming so loudly.” “Shh– No, no, don’t panic, love. You’re safe now.” “It was so real! I swear! He/she was here!” “I don’t ever want to sleep again. What if– what if I dream about that again?” “If you tell me, it’ll go away. That’s what my mum/dad always told me and it’s never failed me.” “Do you want to go back to sleep, or shall I make you a cup of tea?” “I don’t want to go back to sleep…” “I’m so scared… I can’t stop seeing what I just saw. It was so vivid!” “There’s really nobody here, okay? Do you need me to show you around to prove that to you?” “How do I know I’m not still dreaming?    "What the hell is your problem, Ed? I turn my back for five minutes and you get yourself stuck between the couch and the wall. I swear you are five years old.“ With an annoyed sigh, the blonde mechanic took several steps towards the couch, before pulling it away from the wall. ”

Ed slowly slid onto his back as the couch was pulled out, eventually leaving him sprawled across the ground.

“I am not five! I have, like, a job! And tons of responsibilities! I just got a little stuck there, you jerk.”
