there was a moment that passed between hearing jester's voice and actually understanding her question. “ hmm ? ” a sound escapes him, with tone low and rough, as he shifts his gaze from the cup back to jester. “ no, not yet. ” it will take several more cups of hard liquor to reach wasted levels, but he's fairly tipsy. “ how's your... uh... milk? ” he was fairly certain that was what she had ordered but maybe the alcohol was starting to have its effects. he hoped, at least, he would have a dreamless sleep after.

the group had slowly begun to head in the upper level of the inn to retreat for the night, but he didn't mind staying a little longer in jester's company. it was then he noticed she had her sketchbook out, so he leaned a little closer resting his chin on his hand to take a glimpse of her drawings. “ what are you drawing tonight? ”
