I can't decide what's more in character here:

Tails using his little device to heat up the marshmallow before he roasts it,

Sonic rolling his eyes and smiling because his little bro is a show off (an adorable one too),

Or Knuckles listening to Tails' advice on how to roast the marshmallow right but instead of getting the new one he's just burning the same one even more. And Knuckles' marshmallow caught fire again and he didn't understand why 😂

i loved him in this movie. he was so silly and fun but actually acted serious when he needed to. he developed and matured so much. when he decided to give sonic the thing he had looked for HIS WHOLE LIFE because he didn’t want to fight him? because he’d rather trust his brother and his good heart than harm his family? i just-

he is THE big brother 🥹 he looked after sonic and tails the whole time, he was so protective over them.

i was 100% satisfied with what they did with knuckles in this movie. the only thing i missed was him interacting a bit more with his newfound parents but i understand there was too much going on.

i just physically need to hear him call maddie “mum” once :”)

edit: also, another thing i didn’t catch since i watched the movie in italian

Dinovember 2024: Children of the Lizard King

For Dinovember, a tribute to the one, and only, Tyrannosaurus rex.

A creature whose impact on pop culture is SO prevalent, it's basically an ambassador species to the field of Paleontology.

From King Kong, to The Land before Time, to Jurassic Park, to Prehistoric Planet, there has been SO many interpretations of the dinosaur, and creatures that took influence FROM Tyrannosaurus rex, I could have filled the entire page with more, but I had to stop at 65 so that the flow and composition of the piece would work.

One of the sweetest things in the movie is when Tom and Maddie are bored af without their kids and they try new hobbies to keep themselves occupied and they make Tom a sweater decorated with his nickname "Donut Lord" (the nickname that Sonic first gave him) and donuts all over it. Even when they're trying to do something other than spending time with their kids they keep thinking about them. I love how this movie confirmed that Tom and Maddie love their little alien kids so much and, even though they were a happy couple before they adopted them, they're even happier now. They can't imagine their lives without them anymore.
