We can argue the pros and cons of “Old Soldier” and “Warbringer’s: Sylvanas” till doomsday but the fact of the matter is - it did what it set out to do, at least for me.  I regained my respect for the Horde.  Maybe not for Sylvanas but definitely for the Orcs and the Trolls.  @halenvar said it best; the Horde is for misfits.  Those who don’t fit into the pretty fantasy tropes of the Alliance.  Let’s face it, the Horde has been through some shit Lorewise.  I’m still salty over Vol’Jin’s death, actually. He was killed by a trash mob, he didn’t go out in a blaze defending his people like Varian did.  What “Old Soldier” did…at least for me, is reinforce that feeling that - yeah, the Horde’s lore has been through the meat grinder - but there’s till honor in the way they fight.  

Don’t get me wrong; I wasn’t too happy that Teldrassil burned, but that’s the nostalgic feels in me.  When I started this adventure back in 2008, I started out as a Night Elf and I remember being in awe when I saw Darnassus for the first time.  But this is a war… granted it’s a video game one, but it’s still a war none the less.  Landscapes get changed, warriors come out of the most random places.  Heroes are born and enemies are defeated - it just depends on your point of view.
