you ever sit n think how adora first learned to be a hero for catra… protecting her from shadow weaver and the horde as best as she knew how to at least. then she left catra to go be etheria’s hero. and she took on this sort of clunky unfamiliar she-ra form bc she was trying to be a hero without the person who was her deepest inspiration. and she was able to muddle through for a long time, until the sword broke, but then in 5x05 adora reconnected to that part of herself that wanted to love and protect catra and be her hero in a pure, genuine way like when they were little kids.. she finally understood where she-ra’s power truly came from and she got this powerful new form to reflect it. like glimmer and bow and everyone inspired her too but catra wasn’t simply a missing piece she was the one at the core of everything, i.e. without catra i doubt adora ever wouldve found she-ra again
