Lust

What is Lust?  By definition: have a very strong sexual desire for someone.  By connotation: hit it and quite it.  I’m fairly positive that everyone has said I’d hit that about at least 1 person through-out their life.  Hell i say at least 10 times a day about individual people....but that’s just me.  Hormonally we are meant to be “mating” and “reproducing” that is what our bodies want and need.  But Sex is not a way to lead to love.  Yes, their is that one relationship that started out as a hookup that lead to marriage; but this is rare and their are always exceptions to the norm.  I understand that to some sex is a tool of escape, but just wanting to get it in with someone a way to solve your problem (nor will sex save a relationship).  I don't want to sound preachy, cliche, or prude.  I strongly believe that a hookup helps keep us satisfied and going through life.  But i also believe that sometimes holding out for something more is an option as well. 

As you get older and wiser you’ll realize that sex, sadly to say i know, will fade.  But the memories won’t.  The morning and goodnight kisses will be there, the dinner dates will be there, and so will the feeling of having the heart of another will help overshadow that feeling of Lust.  Even when you’re married for 50 years you’ll always find that person you want to just pounce; but you withhold because lust is a minor feeling to that of Love and trust of another human.  

So yea go ahead; hook-up, hit and quit it, hump around.  But remember when you find someone you want to wake up next to for the rest of your life don’t screw it up because you lust someone.  Love is more then sex; love is what you get when sex fades away.

Love

Their are very few things people absolutely NEED in this world.  We all know the basics; shelter, food, and clothing.  Although people now-a-days want to add in their phones, internet, and money into that mix.  But in reality we don’t need these technologies.  Besides water food and shelter what we really need is love.  I’m not just saying sex, or lust; i mean true genuine love that you can only get from the one person.  And theirs a difference between loving someone and being in love with someone that i think people get confused about.

I love my dad, my mom, my brother, and my aunts and uncles and even my friends.  If anything were to happen i wouldn’t know how i would continue with my daily routines.  Anyone cause trouble with them they cause trouble with me; they need money i have cash.  I would do anything to make sure they are living the life they were destined to.  The people you care about, you love!  You might not always like them; or want to hang out with them; but you will always care about them in a way no one else could. 

Being In Love is a completely different story.  I personally have never felt this, but i know that when i do it will be inspiring.  “Love is seeing the face of God.”  Now...I am not a religious person but i believe in this with my whole heart.  God is not just Jesus’s father or apart of the Church.  To me God signifies a greater being, a pureness, and a genuine feeling that you only feel when you are with someone who makes you feel like the higher being.  Don’t settle for less, or what you think you deserve; hold out for the one you feel you need.  Love can come around at anytime so leave your heart open to those you wouldn’t expect and at times when you want to close yourself off to the world.  Those are the times that you will find your love, and your “face of God.”

Why is it that their is so much negativity in our world today?  Why is money so important? Why is crime idolized?  We look and think we've come so far but people are getting killed and shot and harassed and being stolen from everyday.  We idolize unimportant "things" instead of the family and friends that we are blessed to share our lives with.  We need to take a step back and truly look at what is important for us; as a whole and individually.  So do that and stop just looking to the media for what is write.  look in a mirror instead
