I love how when I start thinking about figuring out @taylorswift 7th album name, swifties have already a whole theory, pictures, comparisons from different eras, old posts, statements by Taylor's friends, interviews, meaning of dates... I’m proud to be in this fandom

Groups of butterflies are called kaleidoscopes. TS7 will represent Taylor finding a love who sees all angles of the kaleidoscope that is her, not her reputation.

Ok now I’m going to talk about how “The Story of Us” ties into all this. Aside from the 4:26 length and saying “next chapter,” it was really the first time Taylor explicitly used the story metaphor. Since then, it’s been a recurring theme every era.

For instance, when she said farewell to the 1989 world tour, she posted “This is the most beautiful chapter in our story so far…”

Then, at the recent AMAs, she said “I always look at albums as chapters in my life… I’m even more excited about the next chapter!”

If we tie this back to the kaleidoscope metaphor in the rep prologue, specifically “Someone who will choose us even when they see all sides of the story, all the angles of the kaleidoscope that is you,” we can theorize that TS7 will be “the story of us” — the full kaleidoscope that is Taylor, all her facets and vulnerabilities, the raw truths of her personal relationships and her relationship with us.

Not convinced? The added gifing elements on the website look like shapes moving in a kaleidoscope. I’m guessing there will be new moving shapes added as we get closer to the reveal.
