At 6:16 in the youtube video 'Tigrex DESTROYED By Shepard with NEW Great Sword Move!' there seems to be a very familiar rattling sound whilst Tigrex seems to initiate a turf war, accompanied by the uploader saying they couldn't tell you what happened...

Oh you’re right! I had just assumed that Shep had carted and it was done for comedic affect, but upon further review, I do hear the rattle.

Now, I’ve been going back and forth between Seregios and Nargacuga as options here, and I can’t really tell for certain whose rattle it is, though it sounds a lot like Narg’s.

The idea of a Nargacuga on an ice map is so bizarre, and I would almost doubt that they wouldn’t want to show him off, since we’ve already gotten gameplay footage of him. But, supposedly Narg shows up halfway through Iceborne’s story, so perhaps having him in the Hoarfrost isn’t the weirdest choice.

I combed through the footage just before the cut, and literally the split second before Shep cuts out:

These are the two frames just before the cut, something pulls/knocks Tigrex an insanely long way down the cliff they’re fighting next to.

Crown Jewl Plesioth

Headcanon: Once a rich king had the idea to put Plesioths in the water ditch around his castle as added protection. Over the years the Plesioth changed.

Because of the limited space in the ditch they got smaller in size. Lack of predators and availability of enough food helped more colorful versions to thrive. Some of them even got quite fond of humans, especially children, since they would often feed them frogs and other goodies.

Unfortunately it sometimes happes that a Plesioth would escape, especially after heavy rain when the water level in the ditch was much higher than usual, and had to be retrieved by a hunter. Due to the hunger, predators and the unknown surrounding the normally passive monster turn hostile.

Quest: Crown Jewl Plesioths are not allowed to be killed since they are the property of the king! After a successful catch the hunter will be rewarded with lots of gold and exp. (farm quest)

The fight would be similar to a normal Plesioth, but without the big hitbox of the tail since he is missing the long quill like attachments. Other big monsters will often seek out the CJ Plesioth due to his vibrant colors.
