~One Day~
âWhy donât weâŠ?â His hand brushed your ass as he came up behind you.
You pushed it away immediately, thoroughly unamused by him. You were getting tired of him and his horniness (you still enabled him so you werenât completely blameless). âNope, weâre not doing that here.â
He held his hands up in defense as he backed off, going to sit in a chair. âAlright, Iâll behave.â
âGoodâŠâ
He smirked at you from his seated position. âHow badly did you wanna say âboyâ after that?â
You shot him a look. âShut up.â
âYes, maâam.â The smirk had not left his face.
You sighed and pinched the bridge of your nose. âWhy do you do this to her?â
âTo Tammi?â He asked for clarification that was not needed. Heâd fucked you, then heâd been coming to your house for booty calls⊠specifically to have you suck his dick and to finger you or eat you out.Â
âDo you love her?â
âOf course I love her!â
âSo stop fucking around with me, okay?! Itâs not fair to her.â
âI love her but thereâs no spark anymore. We donât make love anymore. She loves that dog she claimed to hate more than she loves me. She understands it better too. And maybe it understands her more than I do.â
âYouâre still married to her, Sam! Itâs not right.â
âIâm meeting with an attorney.â
âYouâre divorcing her?â
âI-I canât do this anymore with her. Sheâs soâŠI donât even know anymore. She does these stupid fucking things and I justâŠshe comes from a good family, right? She was always taken care of. And now Iâm responsible for taking care of her. Sheâs used to that. Itâs justâŠsheâs an adult woman and I swear sometimes it's like sheâs a child. She doesnât really understand me or my work. I really question marrying an upper-middle class woman.â
âYou think you shouldâve married a cop?â
âOr at least someone with a little more worldly experience. Sheâs so uncomfortable around anyone who isnât from her world.â
âYouâre from a working class family.â
âCops are âhonorableâ. And me making 70k a year doesnât hurt. Middle middle class. Itâs not that much of a downgrade. And sheâs got her own savings anyway. Mommy and daddy love their little girl.â
âBut she doesnât work, right?â
âNope. But she wants a really expensive camera. I dunno how Iâm supposed to pay for it.â
âHobby?â
âSheâs really good at it.â
âGood enough to make buying an expensive camera worth it?â
He tilted his head at you. âWhatâre you getting at?â
âShe flighty about hobbies? Flitting from one to the next?â
He shook his head. âNo, sheâs not like that.â
âShe know youâre seeing an attorney?â
âNot yet.â
âBut youâre still buying her a camera?â
He just shrugged. âSheâs still my wife. I-I still love her.â
âDo us both a favor, Bryant. Figure out who and what you want and donât jerk both of us around, okay? Itâs not fair to any party.â If he stopped hanging around you, wanting your touch⊠maybe you could both walk away from this sooner rather than later.
âAlright, youâre right. IâllâŠfigure my shit out.â
You walked out of the room, satisfied with the conclusion of the conversation. Sammy watched your ass as you went.
âFuck.â He whispered softly to himself, about this clusterfuck and about your ass.
 ~Some Time Ago~
âAnd then she says⊠âwhat gun? Thatâs a banana, officer, I swear!â!â
Deweyâs sudden, boisterous laughter set you on edge. You could feel your shoulders bunch up. You were definitely gonna need another drink. LikeâŠnow.
You stood up from the table, going to excuse yourself when a hand found your shoulder.
âI got it.â Bryantâs voice murmured in your ear.
âI could use a break from the table.â You said awkwardly, not sitting back down.
âJoin me, then. I was gonna grab another one too. Iâm still payinâ for yours too.â
âAlrightâŠâ
You followed Sam closely as you weaved past people to the bar. He flagged the bartender.
âTammi not with you tonight?â You asked curiously. You hadnât seen her.
âSheâs not really a people person. Doesnât really âgetâ my people.â
âI think a lot of cop wives probably feel that way.â
He shrugged it off. âYeah, wellâŠsheâs never really made an effort to get to know any of my buddies.â
âIâm really sorry. Is it important to you for her to be here?â
âItâd be nice, yeah.â He flagged the bartender again, frustrated. âHello? Canât a handsome guy and a pretty gal get some service here?â
âThatâs not your wife, Bryant.â The bartender quipped.
âDoes that make what I said untrue? No. Iâll have a whiskey. And the ladyâŠ?â
You gave the bartender your drink order. Now you had to wait.
âSo what about you?â Sammy asked, trying to change the subject slightly. âDidnât bring anyone tonight?â
âOh, no. You know me⊠always solo.â
âThat by choice orâŠ?â He trailed off.
You sighed deeply. âGod, I dunno really.â
âWhat, gal like you?â
âWhatâs that supposed to mean?â You asked curiously.
âGood job, put together, and I meant what I said. Youâre an attractive woman.â
You scoffed lightly. âI do hope you can handle that whiskey coming your way.â
He smiled and shook his head. âIâm not drunk. I swear. And Iâm notâŠgod, Iâm not hitting on you. Iâm just calling it like I see it, plain and simple.â
âYou really think I could catch a guy?â
âWhy not?â He shrugged.
Your drinks arrived. You both sipped on them. The alcohol felt good going down.
âIâm not like that.â
âNot like what? Not into the whole dating thing?â
You shook your head. âNot really. Canât really find the time. Nothing wants to stick.â
He leant in a bit. âYou puttinâ in the effort to make it stick?â
âMaybeâŠmaybe notâŠâ You murmured, sipping your drink again.
âWhatâs that supposed to mean?â He teased.
âI-IâŠjust donât bring much to the relationship table. GuysâŠdonât like women who are in forensics.â
âFuck them, okay? Youâre a total badass.â
âNot really. Iâm not even a cop, just a forensic-â
âHey, hey, no. Youâre a badass, okay? Thereâs no argument there.â
âI-â
He booped your nose. âHey, no argument means no arguing.â
âYouâre literally-â
âLook at me.â He met your gaze. âYou. Are. A. Bad. Ass.â
You avert your gaze but he doesnât let you off the hook. âSay it, sweetheart. Iâm not letting this go.â
âI really wish you wouldâŠâ you murmured.
âWell tough, because Iâm not gonna. Weâre not moving on until you say it. And Iâm not gonna let you even try to argue about it.â
âItâs-â you started.
âIâm.â He cut you off.
âNot-â you continued.
âA.â He cut you off again.
âTrue!â You exclaimed, exasperated.
âBadass. Yes, it is true!â He finished.
You sighed heavily. âExplain.â
He indulged you. âYou understand criminals better than anyone I know. You interview them. You study them.â
âWhat about that is so badass?â
He looked at you in disbelief. âSeriously? You donât know?â
You shook your head, clueless, frustrated. âNo. Thatâs why Iâm asking!â
He actually laughed at the absurdity of you not knowing youâre a badass. âYou literally help officers and detectives catch criminals! We couldnât do what we do without you. And I personally think thatâs badass. Come on, take the fuckinâ compliment. This isnât a time to be humble.â
âI guess Iâm pretty good at my jobâŠand itâs a good job. It makes me feel good.â
âYou guess?â He laughed loudly and it didnât set you on edge like Deweyâs laugh did.
âI donât reallyâŠknow.â
He set his hand on your shoulder. âWell, Iâm telling you, honey. Youâre a badass. And youâre very good at your job. Trust me. Iâve seen you in your element and it is a sight to behold.â
âWellâŠthank you. I can only hope I come across asâŠcompetent.â
âYouâreâŠimpressive, not just competent.â
He downed the rest of his drink and ordered another.
âYouâre sure youâre good for another?â
âIâm fine.â He laughed it off.
âMhmâŠsure you areâŠâ
He narrowed his eyes at you. âYou donât believe me?â
You shook your head. âNo, actually, I donât.â
âI can hold my liquor.â He insisted.
âI wonât ask you to prove it.â
âYou donât have to ask.â
âI will insist you donât, then. I will not be responsible for more alcohol entering your system.â
âLighten up a little, sweetheart.â He grasped your arm and shook you slightly.
You shoved his hand away. âDonât be like that, okay? Donât be like Dewey.â
He leaned in, expression intensifying a bit. âIâm nothing like Dewey.â
âHow many drinks is that, then?â
He scoffed. âAre you my mother?â
âHow many drinks, Bryant?â You insisted.
âThree, Jesus. Why are you on my ass, what are you, my mom? My wife?â
âAre you drinking more because of problems in your marriage?â
âAre you trying toâŠpsychoanalyze me right now?â
âIâm asking because Iâm a concerned friend, Sam.â
âIâm fine.â He gritted out.
âThis why Tammi didnât wanna come? Didnât wanna see you drunk?â
âShut up!â He hissed.
âNo! Youâre a mess, Bryant. Switch to water.â You got up to leave but Sammy stood up abruptly.
âI-Iâm sorry, alright? Fuck, Iâm so sorry.â He looked so pathetic, with his puppy dog sad eyes. âI was an ass, okay? Can you forgive me?â
âDrink water. Sober up.â
âAlright. Iâll switch to water.â He conceded.
You both sat back down at the barstools. The bartender switched Sam to a big cold glass of water which his body thanked him for sipping.
âGod, what was I thinking touching you like that?â Samâs muffled voice came as he had his face in his hands.
âJust donât do it again, okay? And keep drinking water.â You commanded him.
âI swear I wonât do it again.â
âMake sure you donât. Or Iâll smack you.â
âI hear you.â
âIâm driving you home. And donât you argue with me about that.â
âHypocrite.â He huffed.
âYeah, yeah.â
âIâll only let you drive me home if you admit youâre a badass.â
You sighed deeply. âNo, SammyâŠno.â
ââŠyesâŠâ he teased slightly.
You huffed. âFine. Iâm a badass. Happy? Can we go now? Iâm exhausted.â
âI donât believe you but Iâm also exhausted so yeah, we can go.â
He settled his bar tab and yours and followed you out of the bar and toward your vehicle. Luckily, heâd caught a ride with Nate so he wasnât leaving his vehicle here. Heâd informed Nate he had a ride home and he left.
He got in the passenger seat of your vehicle and you began to drive to his home.
âActually⊠could you take me to a motel?â He spoke up.
You looked over at him. âYouâre sure?â
He nodded. âDonât wanna go home. Iâm sure.â
âHave a preference for a motel?â
âNope. JustâŠaway from home.â He looked out the window.
âYou really wanna spend the night in a motel? Youâll be alright alone?â
âIâll be fine. Iâm a detective, remember?â He waved you off.
âYou sobered up?â
He looked at you and considered this, then nodded. âEnough. Youâre driving, right? So whatâs the matter?â
âI wouldnât leave you aloneâŠdrunkâŠand lonelyâŠâ
âIâm not drunk.â He insisted. âIâve been drinking water.â
âAre you emotionally okay to be alone, though?â
âYeah, Iâm fine. Itâs not that big of a deal. I just need a break for a night.â
âYou were drinking quite a bit.â
âBut Iâm fine now!â He insisted.
âYou never answered my question as to why you were drinking. You usually donât drink so much.â
âIf I say it is because things are a little tense at home?â
âYou just wanna cool down?â
âI swear to God. I just want some time alone. Iâm sober and Iâm an adult.â
âAlright, Mr. Adult.â
You pulled into the parking space of a parking lot of a definitely suspicious establishment.
âThis okay?â
âItâs good enough. Thanks.â He got out of the passenger seat.
You watch him walk towards the motel check-in front desk. He really tried not to stumble at all but you definitely notice him almost trip on the curb leading up to the door.
Youâre out of the car and walking up behind him.
âI told ya I was fine.â He said, pausing at the door, but he didnât look back at you.
âYou tripped on the curb.â
âSo that means Iâm drunk?â
âLook me in the eyes and tell me youâve sobered up enough.â
He stepped closer to you. He looked you right in the eye.
âIâm sober enough.â
âProve it. Walk in a straight line.â
âYouâve gotta be fucking kidding me.â
âDo it, Bryant.â You insisted.
He hesitated and looked at you for a few seconds to determine if you were completely serious. You were very serious. He let out an exasperated sigh and moved away from you to walk in a straight line.
He didnât fall on his face or his ass but he wobbled a bit and lost his footing/balance slightly, his feet spreading to steady himself.
âWeâre getting a double.â You declared as you entered the motel front desk/lobby.
He is hot on your heels. âI think Iâm just taking whatever they have. You are getting in your car and youâre going home. We arenât doing anything.â
âDo you have any doubles?â You asked the woman sitting behind the desk, ignoring Sammy.
âWeâve only got singles here, honey.â
âOnly singles? We need a double.â
âOnly got rooms with big queen beds in them. Why do you need a double? You two make a handsome enough couple.â
âWeâre not a couple.â You quickly corrected her.
âSo youâre also notâŠ?â
âNo. Weâre not anything, just work colleagues.â
âThen a single should be fine.â
âI donât want to sleep with him. Period.â
âTell me how you really feel.â He scoffed. You shot him a look. He put his hands up in defense.
âYouâre just gonna have to make it work. Iâm sorry.â
âJust shut up and take the bed, alright? Iâll sleep in a chair or something.â
âThereâs no chairs in our rooms.â
You and Sam looked at the woman at the same time, then at each other at the same time.
âIâll sleep on the floor.â Sammy offered.
âYour back will literally be sobbing. You donât have to do that.â
âOooorâŠyou could just go home.â
âNo.â You said adamantly.
âThen it looks like weâre sharing a bed. You made it. Lay in it.â
You gave him a hard look as he got cash out to pay for the room.
âIâm gonna need more than that, honey.â
Sam looked sheepishly back at you. âHelp pay for the room youâre staying in?â
You chuckled and shook your head. âSure. Fine.â
You got cash out of your wallet and covered the rest of the fee.
The lady gave you both a room key.
âThank you.â
The room is even sadder than you ever couldâve imagined.
âYeah, no way Iâd leave you here alone.â
âTV. Pay-per-view. Iâd have been fine.â
âOh! Yeah! Sure.â A beat. âHey, Sam?â
âYeah?â
âNeither of us has any change of clothes or toiletries.â
He looked at you, this dawning on him. He started to laugh. âNo. We donât. Iâm gonna have a walk of shame tomorrow.â
You started laughing along with it. âHowâre you gonna explain that?â
âI dunno. I really shouldâve thought this through.â
âWe both shouldâve. Thereâs only one bed!â
âRight! There is!â You both keep cracking up.
âWe have to sleep in these clothes.â
âSpeak for yourself. Iâm stripping down to my boxers.â
âWha-Sam! No! Not when Iâm in the bed.â
âWhat? Iâm not gonna touch you.â
âYouâd better not.â
He put his hands up defensively. âDonât worry. I wonât. You tired? Iâm exhausted. Come on. Letâs just sack out.â
He flopped down on the bed. He patted it.
âCâmere, baby.â
You grimaced at him. âDonât âbabyâ meâŠâ
âCome on. Get on the bed.â
You scoffed and hopped into bed next to him.
âYou keeping your clothes on?â You asked him. Heâd said heâd be stripping. And he was still clothed.
He smiled dickishly at you. âWant me outta them?â
You frowned. âShut up. Keep âem on.â
âIf you want me outta them so badâŠâ he tugged his shirt off.
âI really donât. Put your shirt back on, Bryant.â
âItâs hot as shit in here. The A/C is broken and Iâm tired. Iâm keeping my shirt off.â
âKeep your jeans on, then.â
âNope. Those are coming off too.â He had already undone his belt and put that aside so he moved to unbutton and unzip his jeans. He wiggled out of them, and in the process of doing this, his foot touched yours.
You squeaked. âDonât touch me!â
âCalm down, I didnât touch you.â
âYour foot did.â You shot back.
âMy foot? Youâre freaking out over my foot. My socks arenât even off yet.â
âDO NOT TAKE YOUR SOCKS OFF!â You barked.
He smiled. âOh, theyâre coming off, baby.â
âStop calling me baby!â You huffed.
âYouâre the one insisting on sleeping in a bed with me.â
âThat is so not the entirety of whatâs happening here and you know it.â
âSimplyâŠgo homeâŠif you donât like sharing a bed with me this fucking much.â
âFor the last time, I am not leaving you alone tonight, Bryant.â
âIâm literally so sober right now, I think Iâm gonna cry about it actually.â
âI literally do not care.â
âSo shut up about my feet, okay? And my clothes? Arenât you roasting in that? Come on, show some skin.â
You frowned deeper. âNo. Iâm sleeping in my clothes.â
âYou are going to be so uncomfortable. MeanwhileâŠâ heâd finally managed to wrestle his jeans off, âI am going to be so comfortable.â
He maneuvered to take his socks off so the only remaining item of clothing on his body was his boxers. You shifted away from him to the other side of the bed. Youâd decided to sleep above the covers while Sam got up to pull them back to get under them. He was just right there in his boxers. You tried not to take a peek at him before he got under the covers. Luckily, your back was already to him as you were lying on your side now. Over the covers. In your clothes.
He graciously shifted to face away from you, so your backs were facing each other now.
You couldnât get comfortable so you shifted around.
âCould you stop please? Iâm trying to sleep.â He huffed.
âSorryâŠâ you murmured.
âIf you canât get comfortable, maybe lose some clothes and get under the covers? At least lose the clothes. How arenât you boiling?â
âShut up. Just let me get comfy. Go to sleep.â
âYou wonât be comfy until youâre wearing less clothes and I canât go to sleep until you stop moving therefore I wonât shut up.â
Youâre on your side facing him and heâs facing you now on his side. His soft cheeks are dusted pink, his head resting on his arm. His eyelashes are batting at you. âGo to sleep.â
âNo.â
He scoffed dramatically. âAnd just what am I supposed to do with you?â
âYouâre supposed to let me look after you.â You murmured.
âWeâre in this motel bed together, arenât we? I told you that you could leaveâŠâ
âYouâre supposed to tolerate my presence. Not badger me.â
âI do much more than merely tolerate your presence and you know it. And I only badger you out of love.â
You scoffed. âOh, is that what it is?â
ââŠyeahâŠit is. Come on. Get some sleep. You need it.â
âI look tired to you?â
âVery.â
âShut up.â
âI will when you go to sleep.â
âOkay! Okay! Iâm goingâŠbut I toss and turn! I canât help it!â
He knows youâll never get to sleep if he keeps badgering you so he holds his tongue and just leaves you be (thankfully).
He drifted off to sleep before you did, with you following and stilling after him. He was a pretty light sleeper on account of being a police detective so heâs grateful youâd settled down. At least for a little while.
You soon started to toss and turn. He was awakened pretty quickly by your fit. You then started to murmur. But you remained asleep.
âNoâŠnoâŠplease noâŠâ
Sam is immediately more alert when it becomes obvious youâre distressed in your sleep. He slid closer to you as you continued to squirm and murmur.
âDonât hurt me. Please.â
Sammy put his hand on your shoulder and shook you slightly. âHeyâŠhey, wake up.â
You did not awaken immediately, continuing to react to whatever nightmare you were having.
Sam scooted closer to you, his concern for you growing.
âHey, hey, come on, sweetheart. Wake up for me. Wake up.â He shook harder and even chanced a tap to your cheek.
You gasped sharply as you came to consciousness, one hand immediately clinging to his bicep. A thin layer of sweat could be felt by you at the back of your neck.
âHey, hey, itâs just me. Itâs Sammy. Youâre alright.â He soothed you. âQuite the nightmare, yeah?â
ââŠyeahâŠâ
âWell youâre safe with me, okay? Just take a few deep breaths for me, alright?â
You took a slow deep breath in, held it, then exhaled slowly.
âThatâs it. Just breathe.â He spoke calmly, his hands holding your shoulders. âDo you need water?â
You nodded. Water sounded like a very good idea.
âOkay. Hey, youâre safe now, okay?â
You nodded as you started to calm down a little. âOkayâŠyeah, okay.â
After making sure your breathing had evened out, he got up and put his pants on. He then went to the little table to get his wallet and keys and room key. âIâm gonna go find you a bottle of water, okay? You gonna be okay here by yourself? I wonât be long. I promise. Call me if you need me before Iâm back, okay?â
âOkay.â You heard yourself say but your voice sounded weak.
He left you alone in the room while he went to look for some vending machine that would dispense a Dasani or Aquafina for him to bring back to you.
You tried to focus on your breathing.
In.
Out.
In.
Out.
That man couldnât hurt you anymore. That man was dead. Youâd seen him go down. Youâd looked down at his body. Youâd seen where the bullet had hit him in the head.
But the silence in the room was suffocating to you. Itâs too goddamn quiet. How can it be in a shitty motel where people should be rowdy? You panicked and grabbed your phone to call him.
âSammy?â You asked after heâd picked up immediately.
âYou okay?â
âWhere are you?â
âRight down the hall. Stupid waterâs stuck in the vending machine.â You could hear the thud of his kick to it. âAh-ha! Got it!â
âGreat. Now get your ass back here.â
âIâm coming. Iâm coming.â He hung up.
He was entering the room soon enough with the bottle in hand.
âYou okay?â
âJust give me the water.â
âOkay, Grumpy.â He held it out to you.
You scowled at him as you took it from him.
âIâm not grumpy, Iâm rattled. I had a nightmare.â
He took his pants off again, then sat upon the bed. âFeel like talking about it?â
You gulped water. âNo.â
âSipâŠsipâŠâ he told you.
You gave him a stern look.
âPlease?â He asked softly. âFor me?â
You frowned at him but sipped the water. He lightly rubbed your arm.
âFeel better?â
You nodded. âA little.â
He rubbed your knee now. âWhat can I do to make you feel better?â
You looked into his eyes. âWould it be inappropriate to ask you to hold me?â
âI wouldn't care if it was. Come here.â He opened his arm and he held you against him.
âThank you. I really appreciate this.â
âDonât mention it.â
âYouâre a good man, Samuel Bryant.â
This made him frown. âNo, Iâm not.â
âYouâre a great friend, what do you mean?â
He huffed. âThatâs exactly my point. I want to be more than your friend. Iâm a married man but God help me, I want you. Youâre emotionally vulnerable right now and I feel selfish wanting to keep you in my arms just because I want you against me.â
âOh, SammyâŠâ you sighed, âwhat am I gonna do with you?â
He chuckled dryly. âI honestly have no idea. Maybe flog me?â
You chuckled softly. âYouâd like that, wouldnât you?â
âWouldnât know until we tried.â
âWhich we will not be doing.â
âWhat, are you more vanilla when it comes to sex?â
âWouldnât you like to know?â
âActually, I would. Thatâs why I asked.â
âWell Iâm not telling you.â
âShame.â
âShut up, Sammy. Just hold me.â
He swallowed thickly. âYes, maâam.â
âGood boy.â You whispered softly. You werenât being serious. You were just saying it.
This caused him to stiffen, though.
âIâd be so good to you.â He spoke softly in return.
You sighed. âYou canât just say shit like that, Sammy. Youâre married.â
âI know that! Doesnât change the fact that Iâd treat you like a fucking queen.â
âYou have to stop talking. I told you to stop talking.â
âYouâre the one who called me a good boy.â He murmured.
âWell I wonât ever do it again. Noted.â
âI-I liked it, though.â
âJesus, Sammy, come on.â
âWhat?! Iâm sorry? I canât help it.â
âI am not your wife.â You reminded him.
âI know that.â He grumbled. âI said I couldnât help it. But you canât deny that we get along fairly well.â
âExcept for when youâre too drunk and wonât admit it.â You chided.
âHow often does that happen, though? And youâre only angry because you care about me, right?â
You furrowed your brows. âI still donât see that as us âgetting alongâ, though.â
âMost of the time, we get along, right?â
âMost of the time, yeah.â You agreed.
âI just feel like you get me better than Tammi ever will. You know how to handle asshole cops while she doesnât even wanna meet them. Youâre more comfortable living in the world while sheâs comfortable pretending the world isnât as bad as it actually is. She doesnât try to understand the stress of my job while you absolutely do because you see it all the time. Youâre so different than she is.â
âAnd thatâs alluring to you?â
âSomething like that, yeah.â
âThatâs the worst part, isnât it? Us being friends who fit so well together?â
âNot like sheâd suspect it. Itâs not like she knows you at all.â
âSammy.â You chastised slightly.
âItâs true. I donât think she even knows your name even though Iâve mentioned you to her several times. She never bothers to remember names. Itâs like theyâre my people, not hers, therefore theyâre not important. Makes me feel unimportant if my friends are unimportant to her.â
âYouâre not unimportant, Sammy.â You tried to console him.
âTo her, I feel like I am. But you? Youâre always genuinely interested in whatâs going on in my life.â
âGenerally speaking, thatâs how friends work.â
âYou really donât see me as more than a friend?â
âAgain, you are a married man.â You reminded him.
âIs that whatâs stopping you?â
âI canât pursue a relationship with a married man. Thatâs just not who I am.â
He sighed deeply. âYeah, I know that.â
âIâm sorry, Sammy.â
ââS not your fault.â He stroked your arm up and down.
âMaybe I should-â you slowly straightened up.
âDonât. Please.â He whispered softly as he tried to keep you attached to him. âI need this. I need you.â
âYou canât have me, Sammy.â
âWhy not?â He asked through watery eyes.
âI donât need to answer that.â
âShe withholds sex over every little thing or sheâll use it to get what she wants. Itâs maddening. Iâve tried talking to her about it like an adult but sheâs just not receptive to it.â
âAm I supposed to feel so bad for you, Iâll have sex with you?â
âWhat?! No, no. I didnât mean that. Iâm just venting. I donât have any ulterior motives, I promise.â
âWeâre all fucked up, Sammy, arenât we?â
âYeah⊠we areâŠâ he whispered softly.
You let him lift your shirt over your head. The skin to skin contact was warm. It was hot even, as he held you to him. His lips met your temple.
âIâm sorry.â You murmured. âI donât mean to take advantage of you.â
âI think weâre both sober enough for this at this point.â
You chuckled softly. âSober but stupid.â
âVery, very stupid.â His lips ran down your jaw. âWe really should stop. Youâre right.â
âYou donât want to, though, do you?â You asked softly.
âGod, no. But you seemed to have reservations about it. If youâre not sure, we shouldnât be doing this.â
âI do want you, Sammy.â
He groaned softly. âNow you shouldnât be saying that.â
âWe canât help how we feel.â
âBut we can help what we do.â He lamented.
âHumans make mistakes, though.â You whispered.
âAm I a mistake worth making?â
âAm I?â You countered. âYouâre the married one.â
âAbsolutely.â
Your lips were on his before you could think better of kissing him. He reciprocated it more enthusiastically than you were expecting.
âWhoa, slow down there, cowboy.â You laughed against his lips.
âNuh uh. Donât tell me you havenât felt this connection between us. You said you wanted me too.â
âI do want you. And I do feel it.â
âIâve wanted you longer than Iâve been able to admit to myself.â
âMe too.â
Sammy smiled at that. He dove in for another kiss. Not satisfied anymore by you beside him on the bed, he tugged you into his lap, hands planted on your hips.
âComfy?â He asked you.
âAre you?â You asked him.
He smiled that boyish smile of his. âSure am.â
His hands caressed your waist, your back. He leant in to kiss your neck. âIâve dreamed of holding you like this.â
âYou have?â
âMhm. You havenât dreamed about my hands on you?â He murmured against your neck.
âWell I uh umâŠâ
âItâs okay if you have or if you havenât.â
âGod, itâs so embarrassing.â
âYouâre already in my lap. How much more embarrassing is any of this going to get?â
âI just doubt youâve had a sex dream about me.â
âWhat makes you think I havenât?â
âWell, you have Tammi.â
âBut I told you Iâve wanted you. Iâve dreamt about you naked, on top of me. Iâve jerked off to you.â
You could feel his cock harden in his boxers underneath you. You shifted a bit and he hissed.
âYou feel that? Thatâs for you. Thatâs from being in a bed with you. Thatâs from you being in my lap. Thatâs from thinking about the dreams Iâve had about you.â
âI really make you that hard?â
âAll the fucking time.â
âAll the⊠SammyâŠâ you sighed.
âI know, I know⊠itâs⊠bad.â
âYou really canât help it?â
âIâve tried. But no, I canât help what you do to me, sweetheart.â
âI wish I, too, could help how I feel.â
âHow do you feel about me, hmm?â
âIâve always thought you were very handsome and sweet.â
âOh, just handsome and sweet, huh? Not sexy?â
âWell I also may have had a sex dream about you.â
âSo you find me attractive?â
âI find you very attractive, yes.â
âWell I find you irresistibly attractive.â
âYeah, I can feel it.â
âDo you wanna see it? Can I take it out?â
âShow me your cock, Sammy. I wanna see whatâs going inside me.â
He groaned. âJesus, sweetheart. Youâre gonna kill me.â
âDonât die yet, you havenât fucked me.â
He laughed. âThatâs true. Iâll try to stay alive for that.â
Your crotch further back from his (his hands were on your back to steady you), he tugged his boxers down a bit to fish his cock out. It was about average girth but it was slightly above average in length. And it was thickened⊠just for you.
âTouch it, sweetheart, pleaseâŠâ
You reached out your hand to wrap it around his length. He hissed sharply when your hand made contact with his cock. âLike that, Sammy?â
âJust like that, darling. Fuck. Squeeze a bit harder.â
You obliged him and strengthened your grasp on him. You tugged up and down, stroking him slowly.
âLook at me while you touch me.â He requested. You lifted your eyes to meet his. He smiled. âThatâs it.â He continued. âLemme see those eyes.â
His tip leaked precum as you continued to stroke him.
âYou gotta stop.â
âWhy?â You slowly retracted your hand. âAm I do-â
He cut you off when he saw your concerned expression. âJesus Christ, no! No, thatâs not it, honey. Iâm gonna bust my nut too soon if you keep at it like that. And I donât wanna do that.â
âOh⊠okayâŠâ
âWhy donât we get the rest of these clothes off of you, yeah?â
âYeah, okay.â
He unhooked your bra. Your breasts were on full display to him now.
âOh, wow.â He marveled at them.
âI know⊠they arenât symmetricalâŠâ
âWhat?â He did not peel his eyes away from your chest.
âTheyâre not symmetrical. Theyâre asymmetrical.â
âOh⊠okay? You honestly canât even tell.â
âMy left breast is clearly smaller.â
âWell I still think theyâre sexy.â He said it like it was some great duty he was taking upon himself, finding such ugly breasts to be mouthwatering.
âWhy thank you.â You thanked him graciously.
His hands squished and squeezed them. âGoddamn, these are amazing.â He lightly pinched your nipples until they were hardened buds.
âGlad you⊠approveâŠâ
âWhat kinda men have you been with, sweetheart, that arenât appreciative of these?â
You huffed lightly. âYou donât wanna know.â
âAnyone I should know about?â
âNothing like that, no.â You shook your head. âJust⊠bad compatibility.â
âYou deserve someone who gives a shit about you.â
ââŠrightâŠâ
âYou donât believe me?â
âConceptually⊠youâre correctâŠâ
âConceptually? How about practically?â
âIn practice⊠Iâve never really experienced a umâŠâ you lowered your voice to a mumble, âsatisfying relationship.â
âIâm sorry, did you just say: âIâve never really experienced a satisfying relationshipâ?â
âYes?â
âWell thatâs just a damn shame, then.â
âGee. Thanks.â
âI mean that you deserve to be loved and taken care of. You deserve to be satisfied.â
âYeah⊠sure, I doâŠâ
âHey, you do. I could satisfy you, you know.â
âOh? Could you now?â
âMhm. I could. Iâd love to satisfy your needs, actually. You just have to let me.â
âIâm just not so sure how capable I am of satisfying your needs.â
âIâm a man, sweetheart. We arenât exactly the most complicated.â
âYouâre saying it wouldnât take much?â
âNot when itâs you, no.â
âT-Tell me what you like.â
âA soft womanâs hand on my cock, firm grip, tugging up and down.â
âLike what I was doing before. What about a vagina?â
âOh, any old oneâll do.â He joked.
âOh, so you like older ladies?â You joked right back.
He laughed adorably. âThat is not what I meant and you know it, missy.â
âDo I?â
He tickled your sides. âYes, you do.â
âYouâre sure Iâm not too young for you?â
âYouâre not. And I can prove right now just how similar to my type you really are.â
âAlright, Bryant, prove it.â
âGladly. Letâs get these jeans off, shall we?â
He gently maneuvered you off of his lap so he could get your jeans unbuttoned. He tugged them off over your thighs and down your calves.
âThere we go.â He smiled.
âHere we areâŠâ
âI should take your panties off too.â
âOh um I guess soâŠâ
âHey, sweetheart⊠look at me.â
Your gaze met his. âYou donât have to be afraid of anything with me. You know I think youâre gorgeous, right? I donât give a shit about any stretch marks or rolls or pudge. And donât you dare compare yourself to Tammi. Iâm supposed to be showing you that youâre my type, arenât I?â
âYeah⊠you are.â
âSo lemme see all of you⊠please. I promise youâre safe here with me. The last thing I am going to want to do is judge you, especially when youâre naked. For me.â
His eyes practically pleaded with you to get to see all of you naked and beautiful. Heâd verbally beg you if he had to until you relented but heâd collared enough sex pests to know the difference between him and them. Your comfort mattered to him. Heâd wait until you gave him the go ahead. Sex just wasnât enjoyable for him if both parties werenât on board.
âAlright. Letâs get âem off, then.â
His face lit up as he grasped the waistband and slowly tugged those off you as well. Both of your clothes laid in a pile on the floor.
âYou wanna come sit back in my lap?â
âIf-â
âIt is. I do. Câmere, sweetheart.â
He was tugging you into his lap again and you were both naked now. You settled into his lap.
âHello, beautiful.â
âHi.â
âComfortable again?â
âYou got a hold of me?â
âWhy would I ever let you go?â
âYou know what I meant.â
âSure, sure⊠still donât plan on it.â His hands squeezed the flesh of your ass, moving you forward so your bare clit dragged against his bare cock.
You gasped sharply. âSammyâŠâ
âYeah, sweetheart? What do you need, hmm? All you gotta do is ask. Iâll give you anything you need.â
âKiss me again.â
He chuckled softly. âI offer to give you anything and you want another kiss?â
âIt felt nice.â
âJust nice?â
âShut up and kiss me.â
He liked you bossing him around a bit like this. âYes, maâam.â
He happily obeyed you and cupped your face firmly before bringing your mouth to his. His hands ran up and down your back and gripped your hips. He wanted to keep you as close to him as he possibly could. His cock was hard and his tip was swollen in between your bodies.
âLemme touch that pretty pussy, baby.â He rasped in your ear.
You started laughing. âGod, thatâs how youâre asking?â
He frowned, brows furrowing. âWhatâs wrong with how I asked?â
âLemme touch that pretty pussy, baby.â You imitated the raspy tone heâd used and kept laughing and laughing.
He removed his hands from your body. âWell if you donât want me touching youâŠâ
âNo, I do, I do. I dunno why I found that so funny. Iâm so sorry.â You rubbed his shoulders.
âLie down on the fucking bed, sweetheart, and Iâll show you who youâre laughing at. You wonât be laughing, then, not when I make you cum.â
âIf you can manage to do that.â You teased as you maneuvered yourself so you were laying on your back on the bed.
He chuckled and shook his head. âYou really shouldnât have said that, sweetheart. Now my pride is on the line.â
âSo come show me what you can do.â
âWith pleasure.â He smiled as he covered your body with his own.
He knee spread your thighs apart before he bracketed your legs with his. His hand found its way between your thighs to run through your folds and run at your clit. He rubbed it nice and even and slow.
âThere? See? You like that? Thatâs good, innit? I told you Iâd be so good to you, sweetheart. Iâll make you cum so hard, youâll see stars.â
âYou talk a⊠good game, Bryant.â
âYou think this is all just talk? Nuh uh, baby. Iâm gonna make you squeal and thatâs a fucking promise.â
His lips met your neck as he continued to work over your bundle of nerves.
âAfter I make you cum with my fingers, Iâm stuffing my big fat cock inside of you. Would you like that? My big cock stuffing you so full?â
âY-Yeah, Iâd like that.â
âMaybe I could give you a real big load.â
âYou should use a condom, Sammy.â
âDonât have one.â
âSo go get one.â
âLemme make you cum, then weâll talk about it.â
âWeâll talk about it now, Samuel.â
He frowned but removed his fingers from you. âFine⊠weâll talk about it.â
âWe shouldnât have unprotected sex.â
âYouâre clean, arenât you? Because Iâm clean.â
âYouâre married, Sammy.â
âI know that. A-And Tammi and I have been trying for a few months now but nothingâs been happening.â
âIt might just take some more time.â
âWe fuck like rabbits when sheâs ovulating. If it hasnât happened yetâŠâ
âIt still could.â
âCanât tell you how many times Iâve looked at ya and imagined what you might look like pregnant.â
âSammyâŠâ
âCome on. Just think about my thick raw cock inside of you.â
ââRawâ sounds gross.â
âRaw-dogging sounds gross to you? Because itâs the sexiest thing to me, sweetheart. I promise itâll feel so fucking good, especially when I spill my white hit load right against your cervix so itâll reach your womb.â
âYeah,â you scoffed, âbecause thatâs how that works.â
âIt is.â He insisted.
âAnd you would know how, oh dear childless friend of mine?â
âOuch. You wound me, peaches. Unprotected sex is how babies are made: I know thatâs true. Are you on birth control?â
â⊠noâŠâ
âPerfect.â
âWhat about TammiâŠâ
âPretend she doesnât exist, alright? Just let me have this. Let me have you, all of you tonight.â
âThis is so wrong.â
âSo why does it feel so right?â His fingers slipped inside of you.
You sighed.
And you were so goddamn tired and lonely. And here Sammy was begging to worship you.
How could you say no to him?
 ~Some Other Day~
You marched right up to his desk. âWe need to talk, Bryant.â
âWell, Iâve-â
âNow, like urgently.â You insisted.
You both moved into a secluded room.
He crossed his arms as he stood in front of you. âWhatâs up?â
âIâm pregnant.â You cut to the chase.
He was shocked, blinking a couple of times. The pregnancy thing had been a kink to him more than anything else, really. Heâd been absolutely shocked when you agreed to fuck him with no birth control or condom or plan b pill. Heâd been taking a huge risk, obviously (youâd technically consented to letting him cum inside you, though and you seemed to have enjoyed rawdogging it with him) but now that you were saying you were pregnant? âAre you sure?â
You nodded. âYes.â
âYouâre sure itâs mine?â
âYouâre the only man Iâve had sex with recently.â
âIâd been trying with Tammi⊠I told you that.â
âAnd then you have unprotected and penetrative sex with me once and just like that,â you snapped your fingers, âIâm pregnant.â
He rubbed the back of his neck. âFuckâŠyeahâŠâ
You put both hands. âIâm not saying anything about anythingâŠâ
âNo, youâre right. It was probably Tammi, then.â
âDo you still want to go through with the divorce with her?â
âYeah. I do. Itâs just a cumulative thing, you know? Itâs not just you. Itâs not just because youâre pregnant. Itâs not just because she wasnât getting pregnant. I-itâs justâŠeverything, I guessâŠâ
âDid you ever do any kind of fertility testing?â
âTammi refused to believe anything was wrong with either of us. She held out hope that it would just work somehow. But I donât think it wouldâve, even if we wouldâve waited until the one year mark.â
âThereâs no shame in infertility.â But there might be in infidelity. Thereâs 3 iâs in both words. And you doubted that was lucky.
âNo woman in her family has ever had trouble getting pregnant. Sheâs got like three sisters. I think sheâs got three aunts tooâŠlots of cousinsâŠâ
You took a deep calming breath. âThis isnât fair to her. Whatâre you gonna do, leave her to help me raise my child?â
âFuck, I-I dunno! FuckâŠâ he shook his head and paced.
âIâm not asking you to do anything, Sammy.â
âI know. And Iâd never ask you to get rid of the baby but if you want to have it⊠I couldnât not support it.â
âAre you gonna tell Tammi Iâm pregnant by you?â
âI have to. Like you said, itâs not fair to her. I just dunno how sheâs gonna react.â
âYou wonât know until you tell her, I guess.â
 ~Two Weeks Later~
He frantically knocked on your door on a Saturday at 10am.
âSam, what is it?â
âSheâs in love with her photography teacher who apparently is in love with her.â
âIâm sorry, what?â It was too early and you hadnât had coffee yet.
âSheâs taking some classes at this community college and sheâs in love with her instructor.â He paced your living room floor.
âYouâre kidding me.â
He stopped briefly to look at you. âNo. Iâm not. He âjust gets herâ.â
âWhat does she plan toâŠ?â
âAmicable divorce. She thinks we were doomed now anyway. She wasnât even mad I was unfaithful.â
âSeriously? Sheâs not mad?â
He shrugged. âSheâs happy weâre both gonna be happy. I think deep down weâve both known for a while we didnât work all that well together. Doesnât excuse my unfaithfulness but⊠humans make mistakes. I begged her to stay, to try to make it work. I apologized, and so did she, tearfully, but she wanted out too.â
âStill feels pretty shitty.â
âItâs not like sheâs not reckless as fuck.â
âBut did she ever break her marriage vow?â
He shook his head. âNot that I know of.â
 ~Two Weeks Later~
âMotherfucker!â He exclaimed as he came into your home.
âHello to you too?â
âShe fucked him. We were still married and we were both unfaithful, how about that?â
âJesus, Sammy, I-IâŠâ
âHey, no. You donât have to say anything. I was way too strong that night. Weâre both fucked up. Fucking powder keg that Iâm surprised took this long to explode. What a goddamn mess!â
âShe really fucked him?â
âLooked me right in the eyes. Serious as a heart attack.â
âSo um⊠youâre both still okay with the divorce?â
âYep. She doesnât seem to give a shit.â
âSo does that meanâŠ?â
âWould you even have me? What a clusterfuck this has been?â
You cupped his cheeks. âOf course I will have you, Sammy.â
âDo you even want a child? My child?â
âIf I really didnât, I never wouldâve let you cum in me.â
âYou didnât want to let me at first.â He murmured, averting his gaze to the floor.
âI wouldâve kicked you in the balls, you know, if I really wasnât ok with it.â
His puppy dog eyes met yours. âPromise?â
You smiled and nodded. âPromise.â
He sighed. âI still feel like a complete asshole."
You put a hand on his shoulder. âYou should⊠because you were.â
