i love this. So much like imma break this down real quick

Fidds, like the 'lab partner' vs 'the dad' I suppose, just like the proper vs Mexican frida.

The memory gun in place of scissors, they both "cut the heart", in this case his memory of Ford in general.

Him holding a picture frame of Ford, like, even when they had gone their separate ways after college, he still dropped everything to go back to him and he's holding a big frame, not the tiny sort of pocket watch Frida had, Ford had such a big impact, he's holding it close, when he could have just propped it or something, he's still making the decision to keep him close.

How the version of him with the bleeding heart is the lab partner fidds, and not the dad. Bc it was being w Ford that caused his pain, not his family.

Adding a proper background, making the Portal the background, bc that's what drove him insane, that's what made him wipe his own memory, that's what he dropped his family for. Bill's laughter in the background, almost mocking him, bc Bill knows how much Fidds sacrificed for this, and Bill drove him away on purpose almost spiting him it's so...

And that's not even touching on the second image, like Fidds literally tore his heart out for Ford, with a smile. The implications, of how he would hurt himself, sacrifice his everything for Ford, I bumped that maybe Ford will realize how much Fidds gave up for him, how much Fidds cares. But Ford ultimately doesn't, not fully.
