When he turns around, Chan is there; one hand extended towards him.
Caught off guard, Big can only stare, a questioning "sir?" ready in his mouth.
But Chan speaks first.
"Would you dance with me, Big?"

“You,” he says, feeling a bit lightheaded. “You love me.” The words are like birds taking flight. Each syllable tastes sweet in his mouth.
And there it is again, that smile. “Yes, I thought we had established that?” There’s humor in Chan’s tone, a teasing edge that makes him want to laugh or drop to his knees or smack him on the chest or all of the above.
Oh, but there’s a better option now.
He licks lips and pretends he doesn’t see Chan follow the movement with his eyes only to avert his gaze quickly right after. “No, actually,” he says, taking two slow steps forward. “I didn’t hear it well.”
Chan looks back at him, surprise flashing quickly across his features, right before he seems to notice how close they are standing now. He stills, all his focus landing on Big with the comforting weight of warmth embrace on a winter night.
Big takes one last step, until they are standing almost as close as they were while they danced.
Chan swallows, and it is such a novelty to see something akin to nervousness and uncertainty shine within his eyes. “Big, what—?”
He doesn’t let him finish the sentence. Instead, he leans forward, and kisses him.
It takes less than a second for Chan to melt against him. His hands come up to cup Big’s face in a gesture so tender and careful he feels his heart ache in response.
Chan lips part in a silent invitation and Big is drunk with the knowledge that this is something he’s allowed to do, that Chan wants him as much as he does, that they’re holding each other here and now and the pleased sigh coming from Chan’s throat is for him and him alone.
I want to give my opinion regarding other people’s opinions about the dynamic between Po and Jun; I’ve seen some posts on social media about some people thinking Jun was making Po uncomfortable and didn’t really have Po’s best interests at heart. And I would like to disagree.
We’ve had a lot of Jun and Po’s scenes, where we can find some details about how long they’ve known each other and the things they have been doing together.
I want to say that I disagree with the take about Jun making Po uncomfortable; they’ve had so much screen time together that we can already notice they have a dynamic, and that they’re actually friends. They have playful banter, and just in case you didn’t catch it, in episode 8 it is implied that they’ve talked so much about their lives to each other that Jun now knows about Po’s past relationship with Earn and how much this hurt him. This means Po trusts him enough to let him know about it.
Now, about Jun not having Po’s best interest at heart, I have to disagree once again. I’m sorry.
He clearly cares about him, and he can see Po is a good person with a lot of potential and very hard-working. That’s why he pushes him to help them with the MV; Po’s career is related to directing, editing and film-making, and Jun wants him to have more opportunities and improvement, and while his methods weren’t the best, it’s obvious he had good intentions once he offered to do the subtitles work for him so Po could focus on the MV.
I completely believe that this also made Po appreciate Jun more, and one of the reasons why he stopped seeing him in a negative light.
Anyway, this is just me appreciating the characters’ writing and why I believe it was so important to establish the kind of relationship they have. I’m sure they’ll have a really good friendship during the rest of the show. I love friendships!
