“That’s still older than you, and you should respect me, miss,” he said with a small grin, she was right though, may seem like a lot, because he was graduated and she wansn’t, but it was just one year. “Oh, I will win,” he said before he let out a small giggle. “Is that why you don’t like it, or you just don’t like in general?”

“What are you going to do if I don’t respect you? huh?” she questioned with a soft smile. “I look all innocent but we all know I have a dark side.” She added on. “I’ve never had a really good cupcake to make my decision of not liking them change to be honest. Maybe you could change that.”

I’m a grown up now, I’m a lot older than you, since you’re a kid and all,” he teased right back, it was weird to be not be a student anymore, but at the same time, it was good, because of the stress. “Wow, that’s almost a crime, instead of throwing the rest out, just give to me, I will eat it.”

“Oh stop it, Mr. Adult. You only got a year on me.” She smiled softly. “I know. I am a picky eater. But that sounds like a good idea, I’ll eat the icing and you can get the cake part. That is, if you win.” she chuckled. “It is weird though. I like actual cake but not cupcakes, They never tase as good when I make them.”

“What is a guppy? Those slangs that you young people use, are not something I can keep up,” he joked, he just got out of high school, and started to work as a security, but that was the funny thing about the joke. “It’s a cupcake, of course, I do,” he let out a laugh, he loved those, his favorite baked goodies. “A long time, I do it since I was a kid, I started with twelve.”

“Oh because you are just sooo much older than me.” Mia chuckled. “We get it. You graduated.” She joked back playfully. “I guess I’m just a child.” She smiled softly. “Cupcakes are good but I think I like pudding better. Plus I only eat the icing off cupcakes and throw the rest out.”

“I never said I thought you were innocent, but that still doesn’t mean you will win, you may be good, but I can be better,” he grinned at her, he was kidding, because he couldn’t be cocky, though it was kind of true,  he could end up being better. He wouldn’t brag about it though. “Don’t worry, you will be safe.”

“I’m use to everyone thinking I am. Some girl called me a guppy.” She laughed slightly at herself. “You must really want this cupcake.” She replied as she buckled her seat belt. “Good.” She stated simply as she pulled her hair back into a pony. “HOw long have you done paint-balling?” She questioned softly looking at him

“I was born ready, let’s go,” he walked to his car, before opening so she could get in. “Get in if you dare and if you’re brave enough,” he said with a big grin, he was excited to see if she would win.

Mia smiled softly as he held the car door open. “Oh, I’m not as innocent as I seem. You are going down.” She stated as she got in the car. “Now don’t kill me with your driving because if you do I’ll know you were to scared to verse me.” she joked playfully. She was having a lot of fun and they didn’t even leave yet.

The latinx smiled softly at her blush, he found it so adorable. “Oh, I don’t think that you will be the one that will be destroying anything, actually, it will be the other way around.”

“Okay, Less talking more action. Lets actually see how this plays out.” She smiled softly. She knew she would most likely not win but the trash talk made it more exciting.. “You ready?”

“Oh, please, I don’t think I will look cute at all, if one of us would look cute is you,” he said honestly, that would be a new experience if she won, because he never done it before. “Oh, that’s what we will see, I wouldn’t put your hopes too high if I were you.”

Mia smiled as her cheeks turned red. “Yeah.” she smiled nodding. “Are you going to get super frustrated when I am beating you? Don’t let that throw off your game.”

“That’s what you want? And here I thinking that I was bad at picking a winning prize, but okay, I will do that if you win,” he said with a small smile. “Okay, how about this, you could buy a cupcake for me.”

“Masks are good for the skin, I am only helping you.” She smiled softly. “And You will look cute with Peanut butter all on your face.” she replied. “A cupcake? I can mange that. Easy. But too bad I’m winning.” She smiled up at the taller boy

Dylan stroked his chin, trying to figure out what he would want if he won, he honestly was having a hard time to pick. “I’m not entirely sure if I’m being honest,” he shrugged. “Because it will already be fun without me winning anything, how about you pick my prize if I win?”

“I am not sure, to be honest. How about if I win, you have to wear a peanut butter mask for thirty minutes?” she questioned. “How am I suppose to make you winnings? It’s what you want from me. It could be anything.”

“Oh, yeah, everyone has a different pain tolerance, and there’s nothing wrong with that,” he didn’t think that someone that had a weaker pain tolerance, was someone weaker, was just different. “Sure, the winner gets what?”

“yeah, I know.” she smiled softly as she looked up at the taller boy. She was really excited to go paint-balling, mostly with him. She wasn’t a huge fan when she went with her family but she knew this would be fun. “What do you want if you win?” she asked softly

“I guess I can take more pain than you can, because to me doesn’t hurt all that” he teased her with a grin, he was being honest in a way, about not hurting much on him that is, he didn’t think he was better than her, he just didn’t think hurt as much as people thought. “I guess we will, but I would put your hopes up,” he stuck his tongue out at her. “Because I won a lot of them before, so I am definitely very good.”

“We will see. I’m sure it has to sting no? I get people have different pain tolerances.” she smiled softly. “I’m down for some friendly competition. Wanna make bets for the winner?” Mia smiled as she looked up at the taller boy.

“They don’t hurt that much, at least in my opinion, it doesn’t,” he knew that to some people it hurt a lot, actually he knew a few that just avoided playing it, because he hated how much it hurt when the ball hit their body. He didn‘t think it hurt that much though, but he respected the person’s opinion and their decision to not play it, each their own as they say. “We will see if you really are a pro,” he teased her with a grin. “I should be the one saying that to you, what makes you so sure that you’re better than me, huh?”

“It only hurts if you get hit, key thing, don’t get hit.” she smiled softly. She has played paintball before and it wasn’t something she was typically afraid of. “Oh, I am just wait and see.” she replied back giving him an innocent look. “three brothers and my dad...lets just say, I’m no newbie.” she added on. “What makes you think you are so good?” she said, repeating his question, wondering if he went a lot in the past.

Dylan had been spending a lot of with Mia lately, they spent so much time together on the trip and now they were back, they would hang out again. He wasn’t complaining, her company was good, and if he could, he would spend even more time with her, it was fun to hang out with her. “After Disney anywhere would seem like a drag,” he let out a small laugh. “I don’t think anything could beat Disney,” he smiled. “I think we could play paintball, what you think?”

Mia smiled as she agreed with him, the only other place she enjoyed as much as Disney is the mountains where se snowboards. “Paintball? You want to pelt me with paint balls?” she said giving him a puppy dog face, wondering whatbhis reaction would be. She then smiled slyly, “Lucky for you i got three brothers so I am a pro.” she smiled softly. Mia’s bubbly personality made it seem she wasn’t into most sports or activities that didn’t fit a girly standard but she was never like that. She loved basketball and snowboarding as well as watching football games and playing dumb video games. Growing up with guys had an imprint on her that most people would had never expected. “Are you ready to lose?” She questioned with a smirk.

Mia looked up at Dylan with a soft smile, “So what is the plan for today now that we are back at school?” she questioned. She enjoyed the trip as well as the time they spent together. They had a great time swimming and watching movies. Mia felt she was starting to trust him and that was hard for her, but she was happy with it. “After being in Disney, Boston seems like a drag.” She added on as she thought about fun things to do.

“How does one not have fun when they’re at Disney? I frankly can’t imagine how anyone would come in here and not have the best of time,” he could imagine it only happening if something happened and the person ended up getting in a really bad mood. Otherwise, he had a hard time to imagine why anyone wouldn’t have a good time in there. “Good thing you will be swimming with someone that was part of the swimming team then, I was in a swimming team since I was a kid, so I know how to swim.”

Mia smiled as she agreed. “Exactly, I guess there are some not so happy people that would just be bummed out the whole time.” she said as she walked along with him. “Ah, you can teach me then.” she smiled softly. “I just never learned as a kid, kinda sucks because swimming is probably a lot of fun, especially at the beach and stuff. Maybe surfing. All things I can’t do because I’ve never learned.” she stated. The fact that she never learned to swim bummed her out but she never had the time as a kid, ouncing around from cheerleading and basketball practice and her other activities she did.
