"write a new wip to overcome your writers block!"
there is only one problem.
i have done this loosely two thousand trillion times.
i have not overcome writers block but the wips... they have most definitely overcome me
autistic confession : i learned to read body language through tumblr posts that were like
"stop telling us he's sad!! instead talk about his shoulders wilting like flowers, or fighting off tears, or his eyes being trained on the floor
stop saying he's angry! instead tell us that he fought to work the tension from grinding his teeth, that his brows were furrowed, that his nails carve crescents in his palm from curling his fists so tight"
it works surprisingly well and i now do much better in social circles
... unsurprisingly there are times i could do better so ahaha pls feel free to keep making these posts, friends---
young children are mainly socialized at home... the parents have so much power its unreal
they could call their child meatball until its the only thing they respond to
or speak to them in shakespearean english exclusively so they have the weirdest mannerisms known to man
or socialize them into thinking pterodactyl shrieks are an appropriate expression of grief
or teach them the alphabet in klingon
or teach them watermelon is the only drink safe to drink and everything else is toxic
