Michael was walking through the city. It was a nice day and he had nothing better to do. He stopped at an intersection and waited for the signal to walk.

Zack was walking towards the traffic light when he suddently got punched in the face. His head slammed into the wall and he cried out in pain. The attacker squatting down and taunting him openly and sending several punches Zack’s way.

He woke up hours later and rubbed his eyes. “Mm…Jess?” He tapped her legs gently and smiled.

He gets down onto all fours and waits for Kitty to get on his back. He shows her with one claw where to hold on.

Thaddeus adjusts his wings to get ready to fly, "You ready Kitty?"

Jessaline sat down and stretched. Closing her eyes, she too quickly fell asleep.

The nurses came in to check on him once in a while but left them as they were, giggling softly at their cuteness.

They continued to sleep peacefully, the only sound in the room was the heart rate monitor.

Zack was reliving the event that landed him in the hospital and as he saw the broker approaching him, his heart rate shot up immediately.

Jesssaline woke up by the shocking speed up of his heart rate. Still half asleep, “Hmm… What’s going on?”

He shiver in the bed and jolted everytime he was hit in his dream.

Jessaline turned to see Zack having a night terror. She walked as fast as she could while half asleep to the door and pressed the nurse call button.

The nurse rushed in and took a look at Zack and held Jessaline’s hand. “Try to calm him down, I’ll get some sedatives to calm him in case.” With that, she rushed back out.

Jessaline looked panicked but then started singing softly to try and calm him down.

He slowly stopped shivering and awoke from his sleep to hear Jessalone singing softly to him. “J-Jess…”

She stopped singing after hearing him. “Yes Zack?”

He put his arms arouns her waist and hid his head in her waist.

She stroked his head gently. “You had a night terror, I called the nurse. She was supposed to get some sedatives in case I couldn’t calm you down.”

He whimpered softly and hugged her awkwardly. “I-i heard you singing….I-it…made me feel…relaxed…”

She smiled, “That was the point Zack. It was supposed to calm you down, it’s a good thing it did.”

He nodded and hid his face in her lap, nuzzling it gently and purring softly.

She giggles as Zack is tickling her without him realizing it. She strokes his head lightly.

He soon stopped and only purred. He had fallen back to sleep with his head on her lap.

Jessaline reached behind her and pulled up the chair trying not to disturb the sleeping Zack.

He wrapped his arms around her and snuggled close, purring happily. He didn’t want her to go anywhere but stay with him.
