i'm just so absolutely smitten with her, it's insane. every little thing she does, every word, every smile, the way she commands a room and tells a bunch of high-ranking military officers to clap for her little science guy, how she constantly encourages everyone on the task force while managing to keep her distance emotionally.
her singing karaoke was such a grandiose, important gesture the entire drunk room went dead silent and listened to her. eva stratt doesn't do this, she doesn't sing or dance or drink with them, she's unreachable, she's "mysterious" but only because no one ever tried to ask her a personal question.
she's honest, she doesn't lie unless she has to, she doesn't give a fuck what anyone thinks about her, she wears oversized, comfortable clothing because who the fuck is going to tell her not to? who in the world is going to dresscode EVA STRATT? try and she will have you killed by a giant space laser.
trillions of dollars and euros and probably ten other currencies are channelled through her, and yet she doesn't get arrogant, doesn't think of herself as better or superior, doesn't abuse that power for personal gain. there's nothing left to corrupt her with.
she has the highest security clearance on earth and national security agencies are her beck and call. she worked for the european space agency for fucks sake!! she was a history major! she is capable of ignoring morality and nuking the arctic if it means saving even just a few thousand more people.
she even pirated the entire internet and showed up in court just to hand the judge a note that essentially says "i can do what i want, eva stratt. fuck you".
there is nothing she would not have done, no person she would have prioritized over the fate of the world, although grace got pretty goddamn close for a while.
i need her, i want her, she is the character of all time and i love her.
