I had read the mentioned article and had found myself agreeing with it; I believe each person has an inner strength beyond their own comprehension. However, this article is the one that truly captures my beliefs on the usage of trigger warnings. They're not supposed to be used as censorship, but as a means of helping students prepare themselves to engage with material. It shouldn't be about forcing educators to warnings, but educating and increasing the awareness that warnings may be necessary.
