A large part of that depends on what you're wearing over the blue, doesn't it? Because I don't know how to break this to you but you can't exactly come to school naked, not even on Halloween.

A girl, wow. That’s... that’s kind of overwhelming to think about. I don’t get what’s hard about talking to girls, though. Just talk to them like you’d talk to your guy friends, or like you talk to Finn. We’re all just people.
I’m not super enthused about it, I guess. Being a Harvard student wouldn’t leave much time for dancing but it’s the pan, you know? And no, we didn’t hook up! I made out with someone at the party but it wasn’t Matt, I don’t think, I’d remember if it had been him. We’re not into each other though. We’re just friends and we probably wouldn’t work as anything else. I mean, even if he ever liked me, my parents would never go for it so it’s not worth thinking about.

I don’t think there are ‘types’ of girls like that. She’s Quinn, she’s one of a kind, just like everyone else. You could ask her what she likes to talk about. Or ask her about herself. Most people like talking about themselves.

It’s not easy to get into, no, that’s why I focus so hard on school. And I don’t want to kiss you, relax. I don’t really want to kiss any of those guys. Those are just the guys I think are cutest in the glee club is all, that doesn’t mean I want up on any of them. Especially not if it leads to a song, like Raph would do. Or Matt, apparently. I know it was just a joke but it was so embarrassing and weird and just...ugh. It was a lot.

Oh. Uh… no. I don’t think that’s happening. I mean, she’s living with us now, but… I don’t think she likes me much. I made her dinner the other night, I even lit a candle and all that shit -mostly to get rid of the smell of burnt chicken, but still. But she just kind of stared at me like she had no idea what I was talking about when I was explaining my Super Mario Brothers theories to her. I guess it’s not like, ideal, but… as long as she’s not hating me and screaming at me, I’ll take what I can get. We slept together one time. And she’s made it pretty damn clear to I think just about everyone how much of a mistake she considers that to be. I don’t think she’s about to start wearing my letterman jacket any time soon.

Nope, it’s a real school, and has been a really real part of my future since birth. I am kind of disappointed though, to be honest. The guys in Glee I’d least mind kissing are you or Matt and it wasn’t either of you. I guess Jake’s cute too and Raphael could be but that’s about it.

Josie: Excellent guess, of course I was. Your parents know its possible to get into college with performance scholarships, right? If I get another nationals win or at least ranking, I'm all but promised a full ride to UCLA after I graduate. You may not have Shelby Corcoran or the Vocal Adrenaline boosters, but it wouldn't be hard to get the attention of scouts. There are too many stupid nicknames in New Directions for me to keep track of, but really? That's like the only thing I've actually heard about happening at that party and it's not even true. I'm kind of partial to swing dancing but outside of certain vocal adrenaline performances, it's ultimately useless. You're welcome. You probably can SORTA, but I understand why most don't make any attempts.
Michaela: It was an easy guess, you sort of scream 'female lead'. And yes, they know all the scholarships that are possible to get but they'd rather not their daughter get a performance scholarship if she's to become a doctor. They think it would just distract me from the goal or whatever. UCLA is a nice enough school, I bet you'd have fun there! Even if my parents ever did wake up with new personalities and realize that success in the arts was equivalent to success in any other field, I doubt McKinley can compete with schools like Carmel when it comes to competition; I've seen your old dance routines online, they're epic. Matt is a pretty common nickname, I think, but yeah, no, not true, pass that rumor along instead please. Swing dancing always looks so fun! And it definitely looks cool peppered into performances.

Josie: Well look at that, apparently my 6th grade Summer Camp performance of Bring It On: The Musical has finally come in handy. Really? That's so unfortunate, Michaela. I rarely pay attention to non singers, but your dancing talent is quite phenomenal, definitely something that should be nurtured and not hidden away inside a human pyramid. So the rumors of you and Matthew canoodling are completely nonsensical? Thank you, I'm skilled at more but those are just the ones Shelby and I settled on as worth continuing for my future. That's both depressing and extremely impressive.
Michaela: Let me guess, were you Campbell? Well, thank you, thank you so much. I definitely wish it could be nurtured and used somewhere other than cheer but I'm honestly lucky to even have been allowed to cheer; if my parents were sure that Cheerios would look good on a college application, I wouldn't be allowed to even do that. People call him Matt and nope, untrue; he's my best friend, I'd know if I kissed him. I bet. What kind of dance do you love but don't get to practice as much? And thank you lol? I tend to agree but oh well, you can't change the family you were born into.

Josie: I do agree that most places are good places to dance. Before transferring to McKinley where all forms of talent outside of a back handtuck (or whatever it is you cheerleaders do) tend to be rewarded with a Big Quench to the face, I actually used to do a lot of impromptu dance performances. That's less than impressive, you'd think a group of teens interested in the arts would be more...unscrupulous at parties. They're fun enough, I suppose. I'm currently taking Ballet, Tap, Contemporary and Hip Hop. Do you take any dance lessons outside of Cheerios?
Michaela: That was very close to actual cheerleader terminology actually. That's so cool! I wish we did impromptu dance performances at this school -- I only joined Cheerios to get more dancing in, really, my parents aren't the most supportive of any creative endeavors. And yeah, you'd think, but it was just kind of boring, no hot gossip or anything went down, not at all. I guessed those would be the four pillars of dance you were skilled at, you hold yourself like a ballet dancer, you know. And no, not in person. Sometimes I catch some online classes, especially in hip hop, but mostly I just try to move on my own whenever I can. I know its not the same as being trained but it's as close as I can get for right now.

Josie: Unfortunately I was unable to attend the party this weekend since I now have to take three times the amount of dance and vocal lessons to match what my former teammates are getting in a single rehearsal. But based on Mr Schuester's assignment, I see I missed out on Quite the soiree. Michaela: It was a good place to dance. Most places are good places to dance but I rarely dance while so loose and it was a lot of fun. Other than that though, I don't think you missed much. Dance lessons sound fun though! What kinds do you take?

And MAYBE kissing somebody that I was dancing with but I thought that might've just been part of my drunken dream that night! Did I actually make out with someone I was dancing all grimy with?! Michaela: No way, if WE did, we'd remember. Maybe I'll ask other people if they saw what happened. I know I danced with a few other people, maybe I'll start there. And you, ask people you hung out with if they saw something too! And maybe the memory will come back to us in a little bit.

Michaela: Really. I'm happy to help. That's part of being a team player, right? And besides, if I'm lying to my parents about where I'll be, I at least need to be polite. Yeah, no, of course my parents mean well! They're just a lot sometimes, a party sounds like a welcome break.

Blaine: Oh, my parents wouldn't exactly be thrilled either if they found out, actually. My dad wouldn't, at least. My brother used to get in trouble quite a lot for throwing parties. But... I'm just going to make sure they don't find out. There's not that many of us, so that shouldn't be too hard.
Blaine: Puck's taking care of the alcoholic beverages, and I've got everything else covered, so you don't have to bring anything. Thanks for offering, though! I'm glad to hear you'll be there.
Michaela: Oh. Well, in that case, I'll be happy to help clean during the party so at the end of the night there's less of a mess to clean up! Or I could come by the next day and help. I'd stay over but my parents aren't huge on sleepovers unless they've vetted the entire family like four times lol.
Michaela: Is it weird I assumed it'd be a dry party? But lol that sounds like Puck.
