what's something about your family you're most proud of? most ashamed of?

I’m proud of how hard my dad works, how great my mom is at taking care of all of us, how smart Stacy and Stevie are, and how much we all support each other. There’s not a whole lot to not be proud of, but I guess I’m most ashamed of how much me and the kids kinda zone out during church sometimes. Sermons are kinda long, so they start drawing on the collection envelopes and I sorta get distracted by the pretty girls in sundresses.

The hockey dudes. They’re jerks, and I haven’t gotten hit with one yet but those slushies they toss around seem brutal.

Huh, you’ve kinda got a point. There’s not a lot else going on with my costume; I guess I’m going to have to go and find blue biker shorts or something to match my paint so I don’t get sent to detention. I can’t afford to miss football practice like that; you’re a lifesaver, Michaela.

Woah, dude! There are all kinds of aliens, they aren’t just green or blue. Some of them are red or grey or look like slugs. I haven’t heard that song in so long but you know what? I always kinda thought it was about aliens, too, like deep down it just has that ‘I’m invading your planet and I’m confused’ vibe. When it comes to aliens, though,  I usually think of the little green ones from Toy Story, so definitely not that. Your next hint is that I’m not dying my hair, but if I did it would just be some red braids or something, not my whole head.
